i meant a gf... cuz i told u guys i had my girl in high school for a long time... but then i had to move to the states, and she had to move to the uk (for university)... and she told me she still loves me but we cant go on with a long distance relationship...

That doesn't answer my question, that's just saying why you don't have a girlfriend. Unless I'm to assume that you need a girlfriend to keep you company because you have no friends. I guess that's reasonable.

@ bam_bam: I don't think that's usually the case... usually the girl wants the guy to do everything.

Anyway, that girl that I had an argument with a couple weeks ago went to a movie with me and her friend yesterday. I put my arm around her but I wasn't quite sure if she was comfortable... and she hasn't been telling me a lot of stuff lately. Anyone know why a girl might not tell a guy something? And I don't know if she really means it when I tell her I love her and she says I love you too...

Edit: Keep in mind that she isn't going out with me and she likes me and i like her.

@ xHaZxMaTx: I have asked her if she has any doubts or problems about me (A few days ago) and she said that she doesn't know me well enough to tell if I'm stubborn or not (Which I am not, she just thought I was stubborn during the argument) and I asked her if that was the only doubt she had about me and she said that she had others but didn't want to tell me.

i do have alot of friends, but life feels much better with a gf, doesnt it? (well, i mean if there are no problems between them).... therefore, i want to get a gf...

and dont assume everything that applies to u applies to everyone else... we do have friends...

@ porsche: maybe she lost trust in you after the arguement. when i argue with my friends, it takes me a while to trust them again. trust is a big thing to girls, im not saying that she doesnt trust you, but if she has doubt, give her time to sort things out in her head and you should be fine. just dont force her into telling you anything yet

@ xHaZxMaTx: its complicated. the lad im seeing atm makes me feel special, and he was my first, whereas the lad i love to bits is my best mate and im 99% sure that nothing will happen, so ill be risking what iv got for something that probably wont happen

@ Dizzi: I know what you mean, and I've said sorry and been giving her time. I've also restrained myself from trying to force her to tell me things that she doesn't want to within the past week and it might be helping a little bit, but I'm not completely sure...

@ xHaZxMaTx: I'm hoping that's not the case, but she did tell me the other doubts she had about me were small doubts so...

like i said, she will come round. she just needs to convince herself shes made the right choice sorting things out with you. just remember that her friends might have put things in her head, and hopefully she will listen to her heart not her friends

Yeah.. I'm hopin that too. Anyway I'm talking to her on msn now and she sent a text message to my phone earlier today but my phone was off so I didn't recieve it and when I asked her what was in the message she wouldn't tell me...

Edit: It seems like the more I know her... the more confusing she gets...

she was probably just embarassed to say it to you. it might have been really sweet and a spur of the moment thing. maybe she doesnt have the confidence to say it again. dont always assume the worst. it could have been really sweet

I haven't either, but I think it would be pretty tough, because you wouldn't be able to do much together or see each other... and there's also a big risk of her cheating on her (I'm not saying she's unfaithful or anything) because you won't be around much.
