They're all pretty good, Jop, though you seem to have some trouble with proportions. Some of the curves don't flow right, limbs seem either too long or too short, etc. Hardly noticeable, though, you shouldn't worry too much about it, I have the same problem. ;) On a more positive note, I like the detail in the clothing, how it ripples and fold over. :)

Yeah I noticed things like those unproportional parts. Some of the pictures that I used to draw were just to have fun correcting "professional artists" errors. Like on the Samurai girl picture I corrected quite a few errors on it.
  • They are:
  • Sword too long with a curve at the end not allowing you to take it out of the sheath.
  • Body parts larger than others.
  • Unwrapped wound.
  • "Boots" too tight.
  • To calm and peaceful of a face, completely unlike a warrior.

Well, most of those things you listed are debatable, more like changing it to suit your personal preference, but I can see where you're coming from.

BTW, you probably should have stated that the link to that guy's DA is NSFW.

I don't get what you're meaning. :|

Unless you're talking about jadeedge, but I still don't know what NSFW is.

There's a difference between anime and ecchi. I don't how you thought that anime is that, but it's not.

Well it seems every time I switch on the tv and there is some kind of Japanese animation, it's just this warrior chick, or some chick with an overly large rack in very skimpy clothing.

I don't know what channel you watch, but anime with girls in little or no clothing (hidden of course) is called ecchi. If it's anime where girls are wearing normal clothes and there isn't any nudity its just regular anime.

Hentai is the disgusting stuff with tentacles and complete uncensored nudity.

I started drawing cars again and I've improved greatly from drawing all sorts of anime.

I'll post the 350Z and the WRX STI I drew.

Not bad. :)

The back is about the only thing that could stand to use some correction. Looks a little twisted, but other than that very nice. :)

The wheels could use some work, and the car looks like it's leaning to it's right. Not bad, otherwise, try shading it.

Alright this may be old, but I finally have the full picture of the "finished" Vanquish drawing:

Image

I'm sure you're all bored of that. But that was then, and this is now... so I will be beginning a new drawing of the following picture (aiming to draw the full background and everything). Tunerfreaks recent Showroom3 updates have certainly pushed me to do this again after my long break. If you haven’t seen his updates already, get your bumbum over there now :) They're astonishing!

Might change the background, come to think of it...

Actually I went there just yesterday, and I was quite amazed.

Cheers Bogan :P

Nearly done sketching the shape of the car (It takes about 2-3 nights for me to do it correct  ), but the entire car sits on the left hand side of the paper, so I won't be able to draw the background. Though if I do them seperatly + photoshop, it could work :).

btw Tunerfreak... Post your updates here already
