Graphics- 8.9/10 The graphics are pretty clean for the Ps2. The lighting, car models, roads, cop damage, etc is very good. Also from what I've seen the 360 graphics are heavenly.
Sounds- 9.4/10 The sounds are amazing. Each engine sounds very close to real life ones and gives you this "YEAH BABY!" feeling.
Storyline- 8.2/10 The storyline is ok. I wish we could have hade ALOT more of the cutscenes in the game including individual ones for each blacklsit character.
Cars, vinyls, tracks- 8.7, 8.4, 8.5 The cars are very good in my opinion. I have always liked the exotics to come back and I like that they added some other types too. But I was hoping that they would have hundreds of cars (but of course it didn't happen) and all the cars on my list are very good, and consist of around 130 (LOL). The vinyls and other things are pretty cool but of course most wanted and exotics aren't about lots of tuning. (although I liked UG2's customization alot better) And tracks aren't really a problem and are pretty cool, although without skill some of them can give you problems.
Online play- 6.5/10 Now this is bad. I'm just guessing it is average but I think it is really bad that they took it out for the PS2, very dissappointing to me and all PS2 users.
Entertaining Factor- 9.4/10 The game is really fun. Races will give you plenty to do and so will the Blacklist and so will the Challenges in the menu. But the real stars are the cops in the game. They are really smart and can be tough when you progress through the game, but are fun to deal with (sometimes).
Gameplay, Overall Rating- The game is amazing and I give it a 8.9 out of 10.
(Which gives it a good enough vote for me to start a second (and maybe even a third if I'm not lazy) career.
