Does anybody know what the filenames are for the window vinyls? been looking for hours for it . can find that shiznit anywhere . not in any of the bin's in the nfsu dir .
Pacodog what video card do you have? Im planning on buying a new one that supports all of the game's options...Nice cars pacodog and itamkutet! Maybe Ill get rid of my laziness and start making some good vinyls of my own.
I just made these stripes for Miata, this car is very hard to make it look good... Think these stripes, british racing green and bodykit did the job though.
it's nice.. one thing - and don't remember anyone mentioning it, but - why didn't EA allow us to paint RIMS in white???? I mean the white look is my favourite, and it always look special (on red or black or blue car)... But no, we got the stupid pearle green with a touch of red...
Now you're saying, pacodog. White rims can look quite nice with some cars.
But EA "forgot" a lot of things in NFS U to make it a lot more fun for us all! Or is it just me who thinks this way?
Are there some rules when making own vinyls to do not make the game crash? I'm trying to modify 206 and it's a headache. After every 2 touches to the vinyl pic game crashes like hell! Also, it may crash depending on bodykit, i.e. it can be good with Mantis, but crash with Vapor.
easy: make a vinyl and make a mask... now test it - and it will work - but you find something that is wrong with it - like the allignment is wrong and needs adjustment. So yuo naturally want to just adjust the VINYL and shift some things around and resave it. Than you make a mask out of it... WRONG... Yuo will have to COPY and PASTE your modified vinyl into a new document and averwrite the original vinyl... I.e. imagine that the once saved vinyl creates some sort of mask under the file and if you make just changes to it - it gets confused... So my advice - just copy what you've changed into a new document and then save it over the old file. And yes, PUG is horrible - i had so many troubles with it it's hard to list them all. But once I figured out the way to fix it, it's all good.
Thnx for your advice, Paco! I will try it... Hope it will help me.
What I'm doin now is just a general vinyl, just lines (boundaries) of car elements - sides, roof, hood, bumbers, windows. So later I can locate vinyl parts more accurate.
The civic looks cool, colours really suit it. Just one thing though, it has the ralliart sponsor on the side (mitsubishis unique tuning house), so you could change that to mugen or spoon sports to make it perfect
