No news on a new Forza, and who cares if it's old? it's only 40/50 bucks now, bloody cheap for what is (supposedly) a great game.

It's still not a bad buy at all, and find me a better racer on the 360.

GRID is an awesome game. Graphics, gameplay, time travel... however I still have a tough time racing. XD

Argh, I can't beat the record-breaker achievement, where you have to go around the Grand Curcuit under a certain amount of time. What car do I need to beat it?

Which cars are available for that race?

You can do it as a quick race, using any car you want. I've tried the R10, but that just can't handle the corners.

So I decided to download the demo after stumbling over this thread to see how the game really is (actually, my roommate bought the game a few days ago because he and I quote, "was bored") and I must say, I am pleasantly surprised. This game is awesome. The driving physics are just right, not too arcadey but not a mission to drive either. I especially love the drifting, even though it's hard and takes time to perfect, I don't find it frustrating at all.

Now, time to get my hands on the full game.

I totally forgot bout this game. I'm saving up for a PC game controller. Keep crashing into the wall with the keyboard.

Arghh, I can't find a copy of Forza 2 under $65! You guys know any shops (in melbourne) that are doing specials under $55?

Bought it for $30 at Fry's Electronics three days ago.

Impressions? Well, wow, this game is great. I love the crew system and how the cars handle, although it is a little difficult without a wheel and with TC off. The R34 is fun to drive, although it sounds inaccurate (but I can ignore that). Honestly this game feels like what the sequel to Juiced should have been.

I find it much more difficult WITH a wheel...I tried my Driving Force GT and I had to keep steering to keep it in a straight line. I'll keep the steering wheel for GT thanks...

I'm pretty sure you do. I'm not current on it but I do remember reading something about how Steam doesn't want anybody to pay for content, but Codemaster's did. Not quite sure who won that battle.

(Source: Some thread on the Codemaster's Forum I ran across a while back.)

Steam NEVER wants anybody to pay the actual game publisher for content. Instead they want people to pay THEM for the actual game publisher's content. You see how that works?

most games that come out for XBOX, PS3, and are available for computer, usually have the computer version get the shiznit version.

keyword: usually.

360 FTW
