Yeah, and then they said that Catch-Up is still in the game. Anyone else can say "oxymoron"?spuit*11 wrote:Didn't they say they would make the performance of the cars more realistic? As in no more beating a Lamborghini with a VW Golf.
I don't use pwned. I use BSODed. It's less cool and harder to say. I know.

I believe they did. If you start out in the Tuner class we'll probably have to use Drafters and Blockers quite often, but that's just my speculation.spuit*11 wrote:Didn't they say they would make the performance of the cars more realistic? As in no more beating a Lamborghini with a VW Golf.

I hope the performence is realistic this year. In reality no tuner car can go from 0-100 in 3 seconds. Even with NOS. I'd really like the performence parts this year to be what they are and do what their suppose to do. And to keep the real in it, have a certain amount of parts you can put in a certain car. Cuz you keep shovin stuff in a 4 cylnder its not gonna take it and blow up. So you should be able to put a new motor in and change the way the whole motor runs.

That would be excellent, would denefitely cut down on necessary "suspension of disbelief". Actual part replacement, instead of just adding more stuff. Propably not gonna happen... Then again, I don't even want simulator level realism for an NFS game. I play different games for that.TheMagicShow wrote:Cuz you keep shovin stuff in a 4 cylnder its not gonna take it and blow up. There are alot 4cil engines that can take alot of power.TheMagicShow wrote:I hope the performence is realistic this year. In reality no tuner car can go from 0-100 in 3 seconds. Even with NOS. I know that in the UK there is a Toyota Corolla (current model) that has a 2.0 turbo engine from a Celica that has 800 bhp. and is capable of going over 200 mph. (320 kph)
the Mitsubishe Evo 8 MR FQ400 wich has a factory inline 4 that has 400 bhp. with warrenty that is. and if I am not mistaken it will do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds.

Is it me or are there no arrows blocking the road to the left, as there were in previous versions of NFS?SliM_880 wrote:again the bmw is the same... i hope we can customize it2furio wrote: http://www.joystickwidow.com/ngallery/p ... 24/26.aspx

Not possible. Carbon does not have drag racing.
He's doing 112mph! I would be expecting to actually have motion blur at such a speed!YaelDjiel wrote:doesnt seem like it

It's a Circuit race. Notice the HUD? 2/4 laps, 5 contestants?
And I don't see why someone would get DQ'ed for taking a wrong turn. Nothing's a wrong turn, as long as you finish.

Fingers crossed on that one. Hope it goes all-platform, if it's true.spike_minoda wrote:i've seen on the PSP trailer that there's gonna be a whole open world even in racing track , is this exclusive for the PSP only or on every platform ? if this feature available on all platform then may be that explain the screenshot

Well I've been waiting for NFS to somewhat turn into a realism type game for a while. With more obvious damage avlible and what I said before. But I do understand your point of playing other games for sim type. That would be excellent, would denefitely cut down on necessary "suspension of disbelief". Actual part replacement, instead of just adding more stuff. Propably not gonna happen... Then again, I don't even want simulator level realism for an NFS game. I play different games for that.
Theres some reasearch I did not know of. I was somewhat refering to like the puny hondas out there.. CRX, integra. The 'wannabi' tuners. There are alot 4cil engines that can take alot of power.
