You also know you have played too much Most Wanted when you start to seriously wonder if you can actually fit nitrous to a Turbo Diesel engine - because diesel doesn't burn (as I understand it, I may be wrong), it only gets "ignited" by compression...

I think "ignite" was the wrong word (hence why it was in inverted commas), but I'm not sure what the correct word is - I'm not an automotive engineer!

It's just that I remember seeing a Crimewatch programme on TV a few years ago, where they kidnapped a guy and his van (a diesel) and when they had finished with it, they covered it in diesel from a can in the van and tried to burn it, but it wouldn't go up cos the diesel wouldn't catch fire.

As I said, I might be wrong, and I'm happy to be put right!
