I posted this in the other thread, but what the heck:
Please make sure you vote high for DRIFT racing - man, it sucks that it's not in MW - I suspect cars like the Elise and Monaro VXR would be awesome at it!
I also voted for Muscle cars, MORE cars (of course - I might get a SEAT Leon Cupra R included one day!) and, sorry, but I also voted for SUV's (I loved the 4x4 racing in U2 - it was more challenging, trying to turn my Escalade at 150MPH+). Just as long as they include some proper 4x4's this time, like the Land Rover Defender and Bowler WildCat.

agree with shadow..we need sumthimg new and refeshing
truck tuning cud be the next big thing lol
agree with darren as well
also a better car choice and list...
not bothered about grpx most wanted is excellent in that category
hmm yeh a 3-city world with country in between like SA wud rock, becoz different car types for different terrain e.g. trucks and SUVS for off road, for track races concept cars cud be tested out...sounds awesome etc.
i do like the gta idea, but only if they remember nfs stands for NEED FOR SPEEEEED!
Like the idea of career mode multiplayer, and it looks like be the cop mode is definitely gonna be in it
Im guessin it comes out in November....cant wait
p.s. and of course...drifting....separated the weak from the chaff. Skill was key, and it was reeli grt fun mastering the art, downhill drifting not so bothered about but would be cool if it was included...
rubber-band i hate it! want it out...better storyline..I like shadows idea of redoing the survey lol must do - vote for trucks! give 'em a chance!!!!!!
concept cars....give 'em a chance!!!!!

Give trucks and SUV's a chance!
if you don't like em then don't pick em in game (problem solved)

SUV - Sport Utility Vehicle or Suburban Utility Vehicle...but these days...it's more of a big vehicle that needs a lot of gasoline and most are practically useless off-road. But Need for Speed is not an off-road game...it's a high speed car racing game.xHaZxMaTx wrote:Trucks and SUV's are not meant to be raced or tuned. Trucks are meant to haul things and SUV's... what the hell are SUV's for anyway??
And before you all say that there's nothing proving that NFS is a car-only game well...think of it this way....what if Wal-Mart suddenly sold only high-quality, very expensive products?
And I never you said you said I didn't know what it means.
"And I never said you said I said you didn't know what it means."
Well I never said you said I said you said I didn't know what it means.
"But I never said you said I said you said I said you didn't know what it means"
And so on and so forth...

I'm agreed than SUV's and truck doesn't have a place in nfs. Suv/truck just look like soap box and handle like a soap box. I personnaly think than SUV was the biggest error in U2. I don't say I hate this type of vehicules but... Yeah, maybe I don't really like them except the chevy colorado. lol
Anyway, the fact is, if they put suv/truck in next nfs, we can't "forget" them and play only with cars. If you play U2, you must buy a suv to do some races and putting those vehicules without special races will be a waste of time.
I don't know if everyone will understand 'cause I'm limited in my english knowledges.

I can see where your coming from but the SUV races in UG2 were not compulsery!Guil wrote:I'm agreed than SUV's and truck doesn't have a place in nfs. if you didn't want to race a SUV you didn't have to.
And what your saying about Having SUV's without it's own races means every car in the game would have to have it's own type of race or it would be a waste of time!

SUVs have nothing to do with speed.... or did you forget... this is Need For Speed not Midnight Club or the like....
The convertibles have been done before (referring to NFS: HP2 and the Opel Speedster) and why would you seriouslly care about wanting to have your soft (or hard) top up or down....
Bringing back the convertibles would be a decent idea (since there are quite a few decent cars out there now that are convertibles, while being able to keep up with their hardbody counter-parts)
- EDIT -
yes, i know i stuffed up and said the Opel.... it's the Vauxhall that is the targa, and I also know there was other cars that were convertibles

I don't care weather SUV's were fast or not thats what customisation is for!!The Gravedigger wrote:SUVs have nothing to do with speed.... or did you forget... this is Need For Speed not Midnight Club or the like....

As for convertibles in HP2 they were just as fast as there hard top cousins. As wind resistance isn't a factor in a videogame So they could be included in the next NFS.
i would love to drive a MX-5 with the top down down in NFS or how about combining the best of both worlds Soft top SUV's Like the jeep wrangler

Yup, convertibles would be a cool addition. In Porsche 2000 (or Porsche Unleashed as it seems to be known everywhere else!) I used to love taking a convertible, with the roof down and driving in the Alps (I think it was) when it was snowing. Guess I'm just a bit eccentric, maybe.
And I'd like to see the new Jaguar XK in the game - either as a soft top or hard top - licencing shouldn't be an issue, as the old XK8 was in previous editions.
Oh, and back to SUV's - if you tuned them properly in U2, they were FUN. I used them a lot for drift races. And I am one of those people that believe that in real life there is no need for anyone to own a SUV in a city due to the excess space they take up, much higher emissions, awful stopping ability, the danger they pose to pedestrians (especially children - bull bars are at exactly the right height to hit a child in the head!) and blocking the view of other road users. But in U2 I enjoyed them.
