Chemical Bros are awesome, they pwn with every song released!
Daft Punk are also great, they never show their faces in public, always showing off wearing bike helmets. Had a couple of mixes from a show, I'd categorize their playing as a very messy one and unorganized and that's what drives the crowd crazy about them.
Pete Tong is the most popular and his Essential Selection.

Pendulum! People....
Their individual formative roots ranged from producing drum & bass, breakbeat and hardcore, to playing in metal and punk bands, their comparable talents proved an unstoppable force when they managed to single-handedly conquer the world of drum & bass in their first 12 months together.

After selling more than 100,000 units of their debut artist album "Hold Your Colour", remixing for such respected artists as The Prodigy, being play-listed and featuring regularly on BBC Radio 1, all whilst continuing to tour the world over as DJs...
"We want our music to be an escape. While technology continues to constantly advance production techniques and (arguably) sound quality, something has been lost in the process - that original sense of self-escape, the idea of leaving yourself open to experience something you don’t necessarily find in every-day life. That was the energy we picked up on and liked about electronic music when we first got into it. It felt like the same energy found with bands like Led Zeppelin and even The Beatles, and still occasionally today with bands like Tool, The Mars Volta, Queens Of The Stone Age and others.

To us, it made perfect sense to combine the best of both worlds, but it had to be done in a way that didn’t make it sound obvious. In the last 10 years you’ve had all these bands that tried to cross the bridge by recruiting a turntablist / using a synthesizer on their new single, or electronic artists who just threw an obvious guitar sample into a tune...but eventually it just came across as a gimmick or a bit cheesy. We thought we’d try and do it properly, because to us it still hasn’t been done right and theres a lot of room for exploration.
Thats why we spend nearly every waking moment trying to create music that takes you out of this universe - for ourselves and anyone else who wants to listen."
Yeah... I can't get enough of the promo to their new album...

I wish morty was still here to post his music list. 8)
Have to agree with that choice, personal fan of EKSTRAK and KNOW-1! Can you class Junkie XL as electro? It seems EA love them (5+ tracks in ProStreet.)

Timmy Vegas has some great smooth house beats but most of them are relatively unknown.

I found a number of them on http://www.traxsource.com though.

Used to play Tiesto, that was 3-4 yrs ago, but I did change my music style, to a more non-commercial genre, so I stop listening. Still, sometimes I remember and youtube it for some good ol' shows he used to made.

Certainly not the best choice when it comes to trance. There's a reason why Europe prefers Armin van Buuren over Tiësto, unlike the rest of the world.

I'm sure he does good shows and plays great records, but I can't say I like his own music, which is the exact same music that is popular. (Commercial junk)

Yeah true.. Well from my point of view I dont really think all the artist come up with a full compilation of songs that interests you.. Tiesto.. i liked his Traffic.. and Armin van Buuren ive heard his Who is Waiting and i loved it.. and Paul Van Dyk's The Other Side was nice too.. Well its just a matter of personal taste.. Anyways anyone heard about Bonde Do Tigrao? I love his 'The Book is on The Table'..

Daft Punk anyone? They're pretty good.

As well as Aurora, DJ Sankin & Friends, and Tiesto.

About the only stuff I like from them is the stuff from their Discovery album.

Another great artist I found was Li Kwan. AMAZING.

Daft Punk is awesome but their albums have become gradually worse...
Well ok Discovery is pretty much as good as Homework but it took me a while to like it.
It was so totally different from the first album (and there was a long waiting period after the first album) that I was at first really dissappointed with it but I grew to love it too.
Their third album is clearly the worst though, I'd only grade it as average.

ps. baumaxx, I saw Pendulum last year although it was only a dj-set with an mc :)

Fred Falke has some real great remixes of other tracks. I'm really diggin' the Golden Cage Remix right now.

Anyone else getting In Silico, Pendulum's new album. Why doesn't anyone else mention them?

Discovered Ratatat a while ago, but I'd only listened to 3 or 4 of their songs. Started browsing though more of their stuff, the past few days and I really like it. I actually bought both of their albums, today, and I plan on buying their third, when it comes out in July. :) Mirando and Shempi are probably my favourite songs. 8)

I just checked out the Mirando song and I think it has a pretty good beat but the lack of any lyrics make the song kind of boring.

In other news, I found an amazing remix of the Jamiroquai song "Little L" by Bob Sinclar. It still keeps the funky flavor of the original song while adding a really energetic beat to it. The lyrics of the original also fit very well to this version, unlike some other remixes I've heard.
