I've actually been keeping an eye on Split/Second recently and the idea of destructible environments is pretty good. Trailers look nice too. I'll consider getting it, along with Blur.

Split/Second isn't even out yet, why would you be talking about a sequel?

sorta jumping into the future, like i said previously, but the game looks like some of the prior burnout games, just with course destruction. Thats where i got that idea

Yeah, I know. The guys at Burnopedia also seem interested in it because of its Burnout feel.

Nah, Disney also published Pure, which was a great game. Nothing of the sort.

yupa nd did you know the producers of PURE are the same as the ones who made atv offroad fury series, they just changed there name. I never knew that until just recently.

I could seee disney put little sponsors like how in ridge racer namco would use old game names like xevious as a sponsor, so i could totally see "mickey tires" or "hannah montana boost "

One more month until the release of Split/Second: Velocity.

Can't wait. I'll probably do some research to see if I should pick up Split/Second or Blur first, but Split/Second looks much better, IMO.

So far Split/Second looks better to me too, and Blur looks literally Blurred to me. what i know is that there are licensed cars, powerups...and thats it?

To me Blur looks like they ripped a page straight out of Midnight Club 3's multiplayer mode. Tuning, powerups/weapons and licensed cars. I want it for this reason.

Demo: Xbox f***** exclusive. im tired of this, M$ is just paying to get about EVERY SINGLE THING exclusive to that console, EVEN DEMOS. ridiculous.

doh,i saw gameplays from demo and...im unimpressed... gameplay seems to be SLOW. like Underground 2 :(

UG2 wasn't necessarily bad, but when concerning a game that's advertised as a fast-paced action racer with explosions... yeah.

UG2 wasnt bad. it just lacked SOMETHING in driving engine that made Underground 1 so much fun.

I actually have to agree...
In other news, 12 days until the release of Split/Second: Velocity.
