Different generation Supras have never really looked much like each other, them changing the design radically isn't too suprising.

it was really the mk3 to mk4 transition that was the most radical change..

i just despise the new designs, i really dont think they should change the design.

looking at it logically... they should change it...
just to keep up with this time....
new times new designs.

The older ones are Icons of their time... so should the new one be

i read in a magazine that the new Volta from toyota (400 hp -6 hybrid) might as well be the new supra or its replacement... if you guys visit this site- ull see that the pics they have are the "concept" supra pics.... perhaps theyre hiding the supra name under "volta"... also i read in a magazine (i cant remember which one) that this volta is due out in 2007.... 408hp v6 hybrid wit a 0-60 of 4 secs... yea id say this car, performance speaking, could definitely be a next generation SUPRA

aaah this1's looking ugly, in my opinion supra should keep the long front, the motor should stay in the front!

WOW! I like the new Supra designs. I have found a site with some pics of new possible Toyota models, including Supra, Celica and some GTs
http://www.toyotacelicaonline.com/rumors.htm#mk8

Look this pic, it reminds me the Aston Martin Vanquish V12...

well I never seen anyproof of that there will be a NEW celica for 2005...

I only know that there won't be a celica and MR2 for the US in 2005.

but a new one for the rest?? seen nothing

ok let me clear this up by adding something i read in car and driver.... they mentioned that toyota is ENDING the production of the mr2(spyder) and the celica after 2005 because of the decline in sales... they are instead gonna focus on their successful sedans and stuff, like the corolla and the camry, etc... and thus im sorry to say this guys, but it looks like toyota is done with the whole sporty car thing, unless they have, of course, something up their sleeves, which i hope is the case  maybe we have to turn to scions...

they only stoped the sales in the US. not for Japan and as far as my knowlage goes not for Europe eighter.

but I have to check that... but no official news that they stop the production for the Celica and MR2 here in europe

and the decline in sales is mostly cause of the heavy competition from Honda in the US.. with the civic, S2000, and Acura RSX and so on
