I was going to have Gerrard put on the back of my England shirt yesterday, but the machine at the store had broken. I'm bloomin' glad that I didn't have it done now!! As for Zidane... I can't say or i'll get booted off the site for swearing and shouting.
Oh well... we'll just have to put them in their place in the final.

if you look at stock RX-7 compared to stock RX-8
Rx-7 wins in performance.
as far as tuning and mods... who knows... I would say RX-8 due to a newer rotary generation quality and potential. The old rotary(rx-7) has issues.
As far as looks go.. its subjective, we can play the "RX-7 is better ... no EX-8 is better" game all year long. My favorite is still the RX-7, compared to ALL other cars, from the elegant design to the almost limitless potential of the tiny 1.3L engine(its true). Long live rotary. Long live RX-7.

In all fairness, the RX7 is in a different class to the 8. The 8 is a nice car, dont get me wrong. The 13b engine isnt as unreliable as everyone makes out. The apex seals on mine blew a few times when I first got it, but the car was a dream.

Thats not technically true. The apex seals blow due to overheating, usually from the engine being driven too hard. Also, even if the apex seals didnt go, the engine would only last 80k miles until the rotor housing had to be rebuilt.Drewb99 wrote: If they'd regularly changed the oil, like it says in the manual, the car would basically run forever.

lol yea youre right there. Fc's are beautiful little cars in my opinion, ive never been lucky enough to see an FB. They are quite simple, but due to many people not understanding the way a rotary engine works, and the fact that parts are hard to come by, theyre expensive to fix when they go wrong.

i agree the RX7 was enjoyable back in 2001 when the 1st fast and furious came out but i like them when i see a red one i get happy and think of what a lucky son of a booboo that guy is. but now the RX8.Because now i can say what a lucky son of a booboo that guy is with the RX8.But techinally the RX8 looks way more devil than the RX7 but really the RX7 is faster. So in the end RX8 ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!

Heres the deal.
RX-8
Higher Max Speed, less horse
RX-7
Less Max speed, more horse
Then there's handeling, I;'m not sure what handels better.
So it all depends. RX-7 to might better than 8 if modified. I like RX-8 on standard though. They make it look bat on GT3.
So, if your in for acceleration, get the 7. If you want to go 180+, flow with the 8

Only problem there of course is, youre wrong.
RX7 - 260bhp TT
60: 5.1
100: 12.9
400m: 13.9
Max: 155 (limited)
RX8 - 238 N/A
60: 5.9
100: 15.9
400m: 14.5
Max: 150
As you can see, the 8 is slower across the entire range. It also costs more, and has less torque (159lb-ft compared with 216lb-ft) and at 2970lbs. is slightly heavier than the 7 (2965lbs).
The 7 is also renound for its track capabilities, and is often seen competing with silvias in drift competitions around the world for the simple reason that it is possibly the best handling sports car ever produced. Even some of the die hard V8 fanatics I know (who hate everything not from the good ol' US) admire the 7 for its handling.
The only slight advantage the 8 actually has is that it does an extra six miles to the gallon. Thats it.
