My volvo can definately do at least 100mph(cuz I've done it), and it's just as solid as a rock

his car is manual and could go about 130mph. lol we live in condosand there we have speedbumps, so when my brother goes over them he always touches it with his bumpers and sideskirts since its loweredPSZeTa wrote:Sure, you can go faster, but what with the gearbox then? You can't go harder then your gearbox can.
@ Sp3aK: if u think its not safe driving this car at 130, I bet the car my brother had before was much safer. He had Ford Contour V6.
here are some pics in this link

broke his engine on that contour, so that why he bought the Daewoo Lanos
Yeah, but you reach a point that you have too much power for the gearbox, so the gears will be too short. Engine revs up too fast, cuz it's too powerful.
Light cars become unstable at high speeds. A single blow from the wind can really push your car. Imagine what happens in a Smart at the highway.. Never see them there though.

I'd rather seeing my gauge on the dash, hows he gonna see dat anyway.

the back

And that concludes my fav hatchback for speed, what do u think peeps?

The Celica is not a Hatchback! it's a liftback.Andee_G wrote:definitely the 99 toyota celica gt hatchback (in terms of looks)
