Because it really doesn't matter what gfx card you got. Every time you buy the top off the line card, within 3 months there will be a faster one aviable.
Just make sure you upgrade every 3 to 4 years and you'll always end up with a card that is still capable of playing the latest games. Oke, not at the highest settings but at least at playable settings.
The FX5200 isn't the best card out there, thats true, but it works and makes sure that you can play most games on a reasonable display setting. I should know, because i've had one for 2 years.
