anyways, i dont know too much about PC's, but isn't +3Ghz minimum pretty much? i mean, i think i read somewhere that the minimum will be about 1,7Ghz and bla bla RAM and bla bla GFX.... but as i said i dont know much about PC's so you tell me if it is possible that the requirements are that high
Yeah the new minimum is like 1 gig. I'm covered.

I think the requirements will be more like GTA San Andreas.

I would second that thought. Got a PIII 800 MHz. U2 was fine at 800x600. So was GTASA.

i think you need:
P4 or Athlon 1600+ 1.3 or 1.5 Ghz
256 RAM
32 MB Video (because DOOM 3 and Half life 2 had more Requirement and this is far away from NFS MW graphics, ormaybe just say a 64MB )

and memory space....well....just delete some games!!!!

MW will be almost the same like U2 in the graphic so if you ran the U2 at full you will maybe can do almost the same thing whit the MW if not get the most powerfulles computer(i think it's in the pentagon) and if it doesn't run even on that go to alien specie maybe they have the solution.
But seriosly it will need a littel bit more than the U2 i mean it's not a game which you can get out of the car or stratigical game that has deferent faces to every peopel on your army right it's racing game the only thing that it needs is that the car must look goo and the enviroment and that's it and ya special effects soo let's just whait for the game and knock our heads when we will have it on our HDD okai?

I have instaled Porsche today and play it litlle bit and handling graphic suck compare to UG series what is good! But speed is realistic whenn goes 100km/h its realy like you are driving at that speed and not like in UG2 you goes 100km/h and evrything flashes around you and it looks like you are in plane!

dun forget an amd athlon64 3000 is equalvilent of a pentium 4 3.0ghz....so users of amd a64 cpu, dun worry if the clock speed is below the required.....

now i'm running on:

amd a64 3000 venice chip clocked to 3500(water cooling)
gigabyte k8nf9
x800gt
2x512mb corsair xms
200GB sata hard disk

i think the above config would allow me to play MW at a very high settings....so users of a less powerful config shud be able to play it without any problems

when i had the Geforce 4, i played NFSU2 on max graphics with lag only when i did burnouts... and since then i played doom3 and got sick of lag so i bought an 256mb Radeon 9550

played it on max graphics with no lag, so its safe to say that UG2 would run pretty good on my comp, therefore MW should be fine also

and this is on a 1.3ghz Celeron 512 MB

Im halfway building a AMD 64 3200+ with 2GB RAM so for the moment im getting ps2 version of MW

2GB RAM???????? I dont think so!
And I have GeForce2 and I have noticed that in evry game that has smoke whenn gfx card should produce smoke it breaks at moments and game is slowly thenn usual!

StreekG i don't believe you because i have a much better cpu and a GF Ti4200 and NFSU2 didn't run smoothly on high graphics. And if i play doom3 my fps drops sometimes to 15 even though my graphics are in the absolute minimum.

Im not kidding dude, i found it pretty hard to believe at first also, but yeah the max i can go with this computer is playing the FEAR demo, it lags bad on low graphics... And remember my graphics card is much better than yours 8) Radeon 9550 is awesome, i gave away my geforce 4 when i got this one

The comp i've been using the whole time is the one my mum bought like 2 years ago, i've done minor mods to it such as increasing RAM and graphics card, oh and ofcourse the DVD burner upgrade for San Andreas, but im sick of this and 40gb HDD so soon i will finish building my new comp, the Radeon will finally work at 8x like its supposed to... This celeron is like 4x

hey Kid Cro, whats wrong with 2 gigs of ram, its possible, i can buy 1 gig sticks in the shops in my area...

Yeah well i still ain't buying it... Even with the never gfx-card you would have a lot of problems with doom 3 because your pc would still be worse than mine because my cpu is so much better than a 1.3ghz celeron.
