Hey, the Pc takes a lot more room than the PS3The Pc isn't compleatly bad, it's just you have to be rich to get a pre modded Pc or upgrades for your Pc. Plus it is fustrateing to buy a game and figure out it will make your computer crash.
(it has happened to me)

PS3 will take up as much space a PC tower + TV which will be more space. Yeah I know what you mean about games not working properly, but things tend to sort themselves out + I like Pc multiplayer becase it's part of the package, not a privilage.A-spec wrote:chemicalcode wrote:PS3 ? firstly, it's that big you'll need to remove your living room window just to get the damn thing in the house, and most importantly the console hardware is static. Getting parts for my Pc hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. After selling some bits £200 got me a 3ghz processor and a 6800gt gfx card.
All this is beside the point though, the thing that elevates the Pc is it's flexibility, ie.... consoles suffering because they can't make great FPS's on account of having to use a joypad. This issue only exsits cos consoles will not get a keyboard & mouse for these purposes, and it gives the Pc many more interface choices compared to PS3 and xbox360. Gameplay is always more important than graphics

PC is also my choice, but most pple will buy either the PS3 or xbox 360 coz its cheaper in the short run. You get the cutting edge gfx in a short amount of time, ready to use, though the cutting edge factor also lasts for a short amount of time.
The PC is far more flexible, but a serious upgrade requires you to spend time searching, buying and fitting separate parts. I think thats why most pple buy consoles, even though personally, I wont mind a PS3; looks awesome, and nobody can deny that

Well, I hear the processors on Ps3's output about 3.5Ghz or something like that, and not to mention Ps3's are specificly designed for gaming meaining there is no OS to get in the way, and the Nividia graphics these ps3's have are amazing....
I also hear that Xbox 360's have 3 power cores or something resulting in alot of power and a quite satisfactory graphics means....
But I still go with PC's because when you run a console on a TV the resolution is restricted to a certain amount, and PC's are highly modable, and alienware etc PC's have more graphics and power than consoles. And Sony is stuffing around with all sorts of different methods to stop emulation and pirating, Ps2 emulation hasn't even been fully cracked yet.
