Stupidest thing i have done is street race a WRX in a IS300. We were racing and he pull right next to me I was on the out side and he was on the in side. I decide to drift around a corner to scare him as in the middle of the drift, his car started to understeer and he tapped my front bumper and caused him to slide and do a 180 and he flew and smashed into the curb and flew 3 feet into the air it was scarie. No damage was caused except a little traded paint buff right out though

Of course he understeered, AWD cars have a tendency to do that. Hes very lucky if indeed there was no damage, and this was real and not NFS:MW. Only on Sunday I was sat 30 feet into a field after my friend lost control of his Del Sol. We hit a soft grass verge at 50mph and lost the front right wheel, to see an Impreza hit a curb, and get that amount of air and get no damage is...somewhat unbelievable.

I tried to throw the back end of my car out when I was turning off of a street on my way home from school. Well I ended up in the oncoming lane and luckily noone was there. I left some marks though that lasted for about 3 weeks. Word got around school that I nearly lost it. I felt like an bumbum.
And then I lost my license for racing... I'm going to keep it ona track now, even though I gotta drive an hour to get there

Sat here reading the last couple pages thinking of all the near misses I've had street racing and trying to decide which one would be the one that would top some of the other stories. GT3x snapped me to reality. I too have driven drunk.
Always remember...You can idiot-proof anything, but you can drunk-proof nothing.

I thought this topic was dead and burried.
Almost put the Audi down a ditch yesterday at 85ish, taking the B4042 out of Stroud (Gloucs, UK) far too fast. Scared the living shiznit out of me, because I forgot the cattle grid is there Had to brake so hard to avoid launching myself into the air I'm surprised my foot didn't go through the bulkhead!
Thats about the stupidest thing I've done in a while at least. Perhaps getting clocked at 89.7 average speed over a 12-mile stretch of M-way would have been much worse if the policeman hadn't complimented my "Exemplory driving" as he issued the fine and chose to ignore the fact that I topped out at 120-odd. And STILL got overtaken by someone in a Noble.
