I had a 135mph blowout whilst in the passenger seat of my friends rally-stripped Integrale HF. Without a rollcage, I'd be dead now. Car span 180 degrees, his the crash barrier, rolled onto one side, then onto the roof, and slid across 2 lanes of traffic (luckily it was VERY late) and came to rest halfway down the embankment. That was terrifying.SuperString wrote:I wasn't dirving. Thank god the driver was experienced one, plus there was no car behind / on right track.darknight788 wrote:blowing a tire doing 220 ( km/h i assume ) yea i would weewee my pants aswell. not too long ago when i was in las vegas for a wedding my uncle rented a viper and we had it up to 150 mph before he let off not the fastest ive gone but it is still a adrenaline rush

Yup - Jeremy Clarkson reckons if you took the limiter off of a standard BMW M5, it'd clear 200 MPH (sorry, I can't work in KMH ) - so 180 MPH in a CSL should be in the realms of possibility.
@ Darknight - it's confusing in that although we Brits are officially part of Europe, we still work in God's own measurements (or something) - Miles. It's the rest of Europe that insist on using those new-fangled Kilometer thingies
I must admit I found driving from the US to Canada confusing when I enetered a town centre and the speed limit was posted at 50 - I thought that was rather high, until I twigged it was in KMH
