Burnout Paradise- island info

Battlefield 3 maybe fun in single player mode but it gets boring online especially since theres 1 game mode. And once you spawn you'll get killed by a noob tube lol * grenade launcher * :B and it's just like any other FPS shooter game.

Just get a 360, if you're lucky you'll be able to pick up one of the remaining 20 GB models for $230 - $260, which is a steal. That's what I did a week or so ago, and I just got Burnout Paradise (and Forza 2). If not, $300 for a 60 GB is a decent price if you plan on using the space.

well i think i might be staying away from the criterion forums and paradise for a while, the forums at the site have changed and alex ward is being a B****. and the game seems to be less exciting than i thought. only one island? come on.
and the next update might be planes, which are gonna suck.

I find it exciting still, i only recently hooked it up to my Plasma and crashing is fun. If i ever wanna crash in a game ill play burnout for sure. Not to mention i only have unlocked 4 cars.. Cause i haven't played my 360 in 3 months or something.

Just got the bike full license. The bikes really are awesome, especially the Nakamura V4 which is fast as hell. Really cool how they made the game interesting again with a *free* patch!

ive been keeping track of the updates every day. alex ward confirmed that there will be only one island only like 2 days ago. the forum is like nazi germany. i know whats going on in the game, as much as theyve told us.
the updates are really cool, but i really hope that planes arent' official.

Pc version = Jan '09

The PC version of Burnout Paradise is set for release in January 2009, while the bikes update will hit the consoles in September

There is also a video somewhere on youtube showing some guy from criterion playing the game on a laptop.

I can hardly wait for this and gta4 to hit the PC..

alex ward also says that the island won't be released until after christmas, a shame, it would be nice for it to come on christmas day. i also think in that period of time, they could make at least a part of another island, but really if its taking them this long to make a chunk of land smaller than downtown, its probably not going to happen.

Really? i find crashing irrotating as you have to wait around 15 seconds watching a god damn crash especially when driving a Formula F1 car and keep spinning or hitting a upcomming vehicle at 5mph lol....

do you mean the part where i say "2 days ago"? if thats what you mean, at the time i was refering to "2 days ago he made this announcement"
