id buy the x800xt AIW IF. i had a powerful enough power supply, better CPU ( i got a 2200+ 1.8 ghx athlon XP now) and my PSU is 250,other wise i wouldve bought it like yesterday. it requires like a minimum of 350w. so im thikning of just buyign a brand new rig.
-1 GB ram
-AMD 3200+ or 3400+ or 3500+
-80 gb ram
-DVD burner/ CD burner
-x800xt AIW
-aluminum case
this would run me about 1300... but if i buy the parts seperatley and have my friend put it together it woudl run me about 1150 or soemthign like that. so im gonna get him to do it for me most likely if i get one.
edit: so what are the best nvidia drivers out there?

BTW, the best NVIDIA card out there is the 6800 GT (which is what i own
).... although there is the ATI X850, which is the best card on the market I think. But you'll be hard pushed to find any games, that can utilise the card full capabilities. In fact Doom3 and Farcry won't perform any better on the X850 compared to the 6800 GT, even tho it's a better card. You'll have to wait a while before those games come out, and by then the prices will have dropped dramatically.

I am not an expert, but my father has got a fx5700 le and it is crap.EmptyWords wrote:2 questions. is it worth buying a 9600pro with 256mb for $105USD.. and 1 other is how many pixel pipelines does the fx5700le have and how many does the 9600pro has? i need replies ASAP
9600pro is better
And secondly, better get a 128Mb 9600Pro than a 256Mb 9600Pro. Its performance is better believe me

i have a few questions...
I have some extra money from my last birthday saved up and im buying some memory. but i have a question, i want to buy a new gfx card but i dont really know my options.
i have seen this card http://www.bfgtech.com/6800U_512_PCIX.html and i think it is a good deal. Do i need a extra power supply or a fan? because i dont really know much about my case. Of course i have explored it. I just need some answers...

That's the fastest card you can get from NVidia.DrewBoi wrote:i have a few questions...
