First I use the Magnetic lasso to do the rought cutting then I use the normal laso to fix the places where the magnetic didn't work good enought.If there's still some edges you can put an outer glow to fix them. If you still don't like It after the outer glow then you have to do step 2 again.

That's what I usually do when cutting out cars.

Won't be doing any cars for a while, or it may just be a few days. I have to reformat my hard drive and I don't have Photoshop on disk, so I'm going to have to find it again on the internet and who knows how long that would take.

i would like out-of-garage shots, and would love to have them in the way they are in the screenshot below, except the cars should be cropped and in the view of the car from the side, the car should be facing the other way.

i want to put my own bacground on the pic, so if you could put a nice one-color background on the shot, a color that is not in the car, say... lime green, i'd be happy...

and can you make it either 1024x640 or 1280x960? if not, 800x600 is good too... it's just that i want to use this as a wallpaper, but my desktop is 1280x960, and i dont want to resize it
