Rims are blurry and flat, and the hood is just grey, no CF texture. :|

Here's my second car I made! :D. This time I did not only change color etc, but body and rims too. Very hard. Not to mention the spoiler! I had many trouble with it, and it still looks a bit odd..

I used this picture.. :).

Thanks guys! :). It's really hard to make the new bumper blend well with the car. Do you have any tips?

Vinyl and CF texture looks unbelievably fake. Rims are perfect.

The CF texture is fine, it's just a little too big.

You need to blend it better and set the transparency to something more realistic.

That vinyl you put is too sharp around the edges is is a little too dark to see any of the shine of the normal car underneath.

Atleast that is what I do.

TBH, it would be better not to put any vinyls (I'd consider not putting CF also), because of the studio lighting of that picture. I'd suggest you go find another picture of that car, with an enviroment, and sexy reflections all over the car, CF and vinyls usually look better and more realistic on those pictures.

But then you'll have another problem, blending the bumper which will be hard, but not impossible because of the reflections, just take your time!

For the vinyls try some of the Layer Blending Options (My choice would be Hard Mix or Soft Light, depending on the lighting) and play with the sliders you'll find in there...

p.s: The CF texture is too dark on some places, I guess you used Multiply blending mode? If you didn't, try that, and lower the opacity a bit to avoid totally black areas

p.s: ^ the above statement was for this texture: http://vmodding.frac.dk/cf.jpg

Yeah I know it looks better without carbon and vinyls, but because it was my second chop ever I wanted to try new things etc.

@t3ice, yeah, the antenna is wrong lol :D. Thanks for your comment! :).
