No you didnt. Sorry, I had a modified AW11, and it wouldnt go above 125mph, and that was on the clock.

No, you didn't. Clock speed is about 10% higher than actual speed. Even 125 clock is only around 114mph real speed.
Nice job, this AND a 1/4ml Kia. 9 posts and at least 4 of them all bullsh it.

Okay, when you spend 6k on your car, then you can say i'm bllshting. i personally put 4k in my MR2 and my dad put the other 2k in. my dad also corrected me on the kia speed. it was 121, it look 130 from where i was sitting

Haha . . . I'd say SS has spent about ten times that much on his cars, from what I can gather (and in quid, not dollars).

Either way, 6k wouldnt alter your top speed by that amount. The only way to do it would be to alter the final drive, the one on the MR2 'box wouldnt make much difference, and the 3S-GTE's final drive wouldnt match up. I probably spent more than 6k on my AW11, and it STILL wasnt that fast.

okay, you caught me, the MR2 didn't hit 130, it only got up to 110 and i did make a few mods to it. i wanted to compete. i am curious though, how many quid go in an american dollar?

Even 130mph isnt enough to compete :p

There is roughly $2 to £1.

Yes, old thread, I know.

120 M.P.H. in the MX-5, behind a Shelby Mustang GT. He was pulling away in the straights, but I had no problem at all catching up to him in the corners (big surprise :P).

120 M.P.H., by the way, is really fast on a two-lane highway.

Christ, is that the top speed? You're a madman.

btw, on the street, cornering speed usually comes down to the size of the driver's testicles.

Fastest I've been driven is probably close to 230/240 kph  sad to see SIC EM go, good times, good times

fastest I've driven myself, only about 30kph this was when I was about 13 or 14.

The fastest I've ever hit, as I haven't updated this in a while, was *cough* 170 *cough* on the GPS in the 964. And it was on a private road, yes, a private stretch of the M6  ;)

I was still accelerating by 120, but I had to slow for corners. :P Online sources say the top speed is about 135.

Less of a street and more of a deserted backroad in the middle of nowhere. ;)

Show me proof you own a 206 that can do 155 and I'll eat my shoes.
