i nearly died when i saw the amount of opponents. is 20 opponents only for next gen and pc? i hope not, it will be a buttload of fun to race 19 others.

Some ppl think its coming out tonight, I don't believe them...And 20 PLAYERS??? OMFG Thats worse then "Krinkels" f*** Madness (offtopic: http://www.newgrounds.com/collection/madness ) Man i must start begging my dad for a 512MB stick...and yea i am downloading some videos now.

EDIT : Oh and fishwiz, In think its only for PC and Next-Gen, PS2 ran the demo about 20 - 30 Fps and ppl are guessing that it will only be able to hold 4 Players max...There is usually a improvement in the final release, so my guess is....8-12 players max-overthetop. NFS C : isn't actually made for PS2, they only made it so that people without PS3 won't have to get PS3 to play it...Although the idea is great, a guy buys PS2 ver and PS3 ver...So my guess is no, the 20 players is only for next-gen and PC...Although i can be wrong (anyone can be wrong).

Saw the ones gamespot posted, and I'm loving the conversations that take place between you and your wingmen. Hopefully it wasn't just something done for the movie. EA seems to really have paid attention to details in Carbon.

Know what I'm loving the most about the cops? They look EXACTLY the same as they did in Most Wanted, except now they're the PPD and not the RPD. EA and their damn recycling....

Ok, so the official site has finally been updated with the information we all know, that the Xbox360 demo is available on the Marketplace but what is interesting is this small bit:
Be on the lookout for the PC demo coming soon.

Keeping fingers crossed it will be released this weekend, in time for Thanksgiving...

Hmmm, something else I noticed in the cop chase video: There are other racers in the world while you're getting chased! Maybe we can expect outrun type races?

Additionally, I noticed that the Audi R8 is shown in the main menu. Maybe this is the final hero car or something of that sort? The M3 GTR was the car in the main menu for Most Wanted.

Those vids were pretty good. I'm mostly impressed with the car sounds. They seem even more realistic than MW.

I agree with u Prince, also Autosculpt is a very complicated process, U can edit 3D models in the game, and then a special script is saved in ur save game, telling which way the model must edit, trust me, making that isn't easy, I think the most spent time on was autosculpt!

EDIT: 2Furio, i think there is more then 20 cars in the race, the line kept going...OMFG...Plus the guy driving has no skill, and damage is visable on other cars...by the way have we already included a Nissan 350z/oz in the car list

Oh come on don't lose hope, And the only reason 2Furio has a valued member label 'cause he has been here from 2004, and posting ever since, in a year i will have it too...By the way 2furio part is off-topic, They never said that from august, and the thing is that PC demo may be released anytime soon... maybe even today at night!

EDIT: OMG, the Tuner video is all about tuning a DB9...WTF

Check again. When you start the race, you are last and if you look closely, you are the 20th racer, so in fact, there are 19 opponents...

EDIT: I loved the part where the 3 cars jumped together in the Massenrennen movie, Although i couldn't get a pic because in Paint its see-through, so if u save u have nothing on ur screen, tell me how to get the see-through off plz...

ea take "soon" in a different way that we do...

soon (ea) = abt 2.5 weeks...

soon (us) = max 1 days

im probably going to have to buy another 512 stick unless i know 768 mb will work fine , but 20 racers in a race seems alot probably turn into a bash fest, i just hope 768 mb will be enough or im going to pay a visit to ebay

20 racers just sounds like chaos. But I won't know until I try it. Hopefully there will be some sort of "scale back" mechanism so that people without a really powerful computer will still be able to play the game.
