Ooooo, good eyes. I didn't notice that. I guess EA was too lazy to change it to a "coyote" or "snake" sign... :P

I don't think that is something to be fussed out about. They can possibly not put in the driver for screenshot sake.

Something that I keep seeing in all the pics is that the decals on one side of the cars are flipped. Anyone else notice that?

umm, the M3, in the 1st pic, has a carbon lip under the front bumper, the stock M3 hasn't got one

EDIT: here's a brightened pic with it, that proves it

The BMW in Pro Street also has a roll cage. I'm hoping that is optional, because it looks out of place for a streetgoing BMW M3.

Prince1142003: I noticed the decals were flipped as well. It's quite common on drift events to see vehicles with reverse decals on the sides.

Porsche-AG: You're not exactly doing anything streetwise in NFSPS with a rollcage now, are you. :)

Is it new?

"John Doyle works at electronics kind as producer for Need For Speed ProStreet. With us it conversed in detail about the newest folder of the popular running play series and the characteristics of the Wii version.

N-ZONE: Need for speed carbon already offered large variety at control options. Will we regain or do give those in ProStreet it any innovations or changes?

John Doyle: The Wii version of ProStreet will in the best possible way use the singular control mechanisms of the Wii.

N-ZONE: Will it give an on-line mode or the support of WiiConnect24?

John Doyle: This mark we will not use on-line abilities of the Wii. Instead the team concentrates to use the intuitive control controllings of the Wii fully and to create such a singular and satisfying running experience.

N-ZONE: Why did you select this new, rather rauen and aggressive style for their play? Was the time of the neon-glowing supercars by or wanted you simply times something new to dare?

John Doyle: We react with to a culture which stands briefly before its bloom and hopefully we can promote it. Need for speed ProStreet lets you begin on the highest level of the Street Racing. It is not enough longer to control your homeland roads. Must prove and in all disciplines tower above you to it on a higher level. This mark goes it only around you. You develop the ultimative getunte weapon and bring it with the conscience for the consequences to the starting line. We want that you feel the raw emotions and the energy, which develop in the Street Racing scene real.

N-ZONE: To all appearances this play will possess a completely new and extended damage model. Can one this time really drive its cars as players to scrap iron?

John Doyle: An authentic and realistic running experience should contain also the consequences, if something goes on the distance inclined. Therefore the integration of realistic damage is an important aspect of the play. Differently than in earlier parts your driving errors have this time genuine consequences. If you scratch thus your car to a guard rail, that results in a visible scratch and a few depressions. If you will deform and will loosen your bumper on a competitor ramp. If it are laterally rammed, parts of your car can drop and over the bitumen schlittern. Many damage models in video games are to time “canned goods damage”. That means that the diagram designer damages a part of the car already before and calls this damage up then in an accident. Thus each accident results in the same damage. With ProStreet the damage model is dynamic and results in in the case of each Crash a singular result. We defined a complex physics for the whole car of damage ranges and to give each car. Each model reacts, how it should, if a damage arises. If for instance a part of the car consists of sheet metal, this part gets broken in such a way, like it a genuine plate would do, differently evenly than carbon. In a similar way also the environment plays a role. If it a Ziegelmauer hit, your car will carry other damage off, than with the hit of a tire pile.

N-ZONE: Are there new play modes? If, which?

John Doyle: The play will offer four different disciplines - three revised and a new mode. Back are a newly arranged dragee mode, a clearly improved drift mode and Grip Racing. The new mode calls itself “Speed Challenge”. We prepare momentarily the details of each discipline, remain thus to!

N-ZONE: Does it - now where those take place running world-wide - become still road systems as in the predecessor give, in whom one can move freely?

John Doyle: We take care of with the play of the new road running scene. Therefore all places are authentic and this new Street Racing culture appropriate in the play. We have a mixture from road vents and racing courses. Everything take place to material location, which it safe again recognize will. We work still on the final distance list. Up to now we have Willow let us jump in close proximity to L.A. and Infineon in north California. At the international distances we work still on some unmistakable running districts, we are about totally verse-eat to integrate the roads from Tokyo to.

N-ZONE: Will it give again pursuits with the police?

John Doyle: In Need for speed ProStreet begin you in genuine events against the elite of the whole world. It will not give Cops however being able your opponents for a nervenkitzel been never there will provide.

N-ZONE: Which cars can we expect from the play?

John Doyle: The car list builds itself out over 40 years automobile history up and is thereby the largest range at cars, which we had ever. Participate also classical authors like the 1967er Camaro SS. When we selected the models for the play, we considered ourselves that there must be a reason for each car, why he is in the play. There had to be somewhat singular, memorable and worthwhile or simply only cool to it. Ford Escort Cosworth participates, because it was never sold in the USA. We wanted to place in addition surely that cars for each taste are thereby, are it well-known models, Exoten, import cars, Muscle Cars or everything between them. The span reaches from the 92er BMW M3 up to Nissan the 240SX. Beyond that there is each quantity of automobiles legends, which were at that time completely inconspicuous, today however from the remainder stands out, as for instance the 86er Toyota Corolla.

N-ZONE: For Need for you extended speed ProStreet it Autosculpt feature substantial. Can you describe some the new Tuning possibilities?

John Doyle: We are really totally inspired, which we can make this mark with the Upgrades of everything. It still is in the development, but the goal of the car organization is it to expand on the achievement and to arrange it so deeply and variedly, as always. With Need for speed ProStreet gets it the ultimative autostructure experience. You certainly not only each aspect of the appearance of your car, but also each aspect of its handling characteristics. The Autosculpt feature lets the Look of your car form and arrange you. Additionally may test you the aerodynamics in the wind tunnel and perfect. You will have entrance to hundreds of genuine Tuningteilen, which permit you to adjust your car precisely up to individual components. Beginners will have the choice between some prefabricated Tuning packages. Experienced Tuner will be able to stop each detail of their car individually, around the maximum achievement out too kitzeln.

Thank you for the discussion! (Sebastian Stange) "
