No. At the moment I think its all hype. From my point of view, this 7800 is just an upgraded 6800 with all its nifty features and other stuff. Im waiting for ATI to release something fresh and fast.

it might be thin enough to not block any slots what so ever.whenever i get some cash and stop wasting money on cybercafes ima buy me a new comp get my old asus p4p800-e AI series deluxe into it ,buy that card and put 3 memeory sticks in it.so it will have 3gb memory MWHAHAHAHAHAHA.

That is just overkill. At the moment most 1 Gig sticks are not really the "Bang for the Buck", so either you are really stupid and rich, or just oblivious and a liar.

Well i saw some test between the 6800gt and 7800gt somewhere and 7800gt was a hell of a lot better. The 7800gt even won 6800gt SLI on some test and 6800gt SLI costs something like over 1500$ here.

if im not mistaken the SLI is really 2 graphics cards connected to make some sort of superfast and good graphics.the 7800 isnt confirmed yet to be SLI.But the 6600 6600GT 6800 and 6800 Ultra are already SLI. youll need to get a special mobo in order to run in SLI mode. so 1500 isnt really anything.i would just go to ibuypower or cyberpower simply buy a comp there that has dual vid cards which are 6600GTs for just 1200 and use the last 300 to buy barebone system as custom backup comp.

its true ibuypower has a comp that has duel 6600GT and its for 1200 bucks. its called nightdreamer.

My cousin was running dual PCI-E NVidia GeForce 6800GT's for a bit, was running Doom 3 with all the graphics at max at like 40fps.
