Gonintendo.com wrote:Some new details about the next entry in the Need for Speed series have popped up. First off, the game will be appearing on the Wii and DS, poor little GBA left out this time. The game appears to be a mix of Need for Speed: Underground and Need for Speed: Most Wanted. You will still have the ability to customize your car, known as “pimping your ride†to the younger generation. The police chases make a return, and you will find yourself on narrow roads, and deep within canyons trying to avoid capture. Apparently there will be a a driving crew of some sort, each with different talents related to cars (such as tuning). The opponents you race against will also feature certain characteristics, for example, some people may try to ram your car off the road, while a drafter will ride behind you to catch your draft. The game is called Carbon because it takes place in Carbon Canyon, a popular place in California for motorheads to meet. Finally, there will be anywhere from 50-100 vehicles, with Porsche being included this time around.

hey everyone
Who is Carcharadon ? Some guy who was number 1 drifter in UG2 for oh three months or so, the first to make 1M in Capilano. Yes i am rubbing it in
Anyway, they need to change the statement from "world exclusive" to "second coming news" since some Danes got the scoop beforehand over at gamereactor.net
EA is finally patching it up... police chase at night in the city and downhill racing/drifting ! Some complain "oh what happened to the cars... ricer c#@p... who tunes exotics?? " and all that. I have one question for you; have you ever watched touring or Lemans ?
you're welcome
nice site btw

The Car on NEED FOR SPEED CARBON!!!!!
The bodykits on the race cars are fully functional and look decent, unlike EA's crappy bodykits. Also, that's no excuse for you to put ugly vinyls and spoilers on an exotic.Carcharadon wrote:hey everyone

Plus, Game Informer has the first FULL exclusive information. The other magazines only had small bits of information (which were probably taken from Game Informer), so Game Informer does have the first world exclusive information on Carbon...

I agree. Some of the body mods in UG2 and MW are overexaggerated. The bodykits on the race cars are fully functional and look decent, unlike EA's crappy bodykits. Also, that's no excuse for you to put ugly vinyls and spoilers on an exotic.[/
I don't know what pisses me of more, body mods that are cool looking in NFS that never appear in real life, or real life parts that never appear in NFS
