Focer wrote::? I'm not sure about that, because Mitsubishi used same looks on EVO VII, VIII, and IX, while Subaru had made three different STi's so far...

...but I still like EVO more than STi :D
The first one is a VIII..

Mitsubishi doesn't need to change the design, just because it doesn't look ugly. The latest Impreza is a new model, the EVOs are just plain ''updates''.

First you had that dumb frogeyes Impreza, people hated it, Subaru gave it a facelift.

Oh... that's why "updates" have different names, usually when they do an "update" they keep the same name.

and all Impreza's were different models, they had different engines

The 2002 and 2004 STi ARE updates..subaru freaked out when they realised that generally pple didnt like the 'bug eye' concept. The 2006 is a new model.

The evo's are what i prefer to call 'upgrade's. imo they had already perfected the car when the evo 7 came out. from there on it was just minor revisions of the suspension, blueprinting, etc. They just gave dfferent names to it so it looks like mitsubitshi isnt sitting on it laurels ( which i admit is sorta cheap).

The '06s are another front-end facelift for a year. Everything except the front bumper, headlights, and roofline wing do-thinger are the same as the other GDA/GDBs.

No kidding really and no one ever forgot the Viper. The Ford GT sadly would beat it.

Yeah it certainly looks awesome. The reason that Holden doesn't make many concepts is apparently because of money. Budget constraints means that just-for-fun concepts are a rarity.

that is the first 'car' to have ever been made. First made by a french engineer in 1769. coincedently the same engineer was the 1st person to have crashed into a brick wall, making it the 1st car accident in history...go figure

By me :)

EDIT: Damnit - Master M beat me to it and posted a pic before me... anyway, I have some more pics here you can enjoy.
Here's another you probably haven't seen - the future Audi TT? So far it's called Shooting Brake (who the hell comes up with those luke warm names?).
Image

Image

4.18m length
1.84m width
1.35m height
2.47m wheelbase

The most obvious motor would be the 3.2L we all know and love from the current Audi TT - 250BHp
0-60 in 6.4 sec

I think it looks amazing; more like a manly car.
