He's not planning on getting anything, for now; just gonna keep the Protege. Which isn't a bad thing, that car's still fun to drive. :)

Wow, pretty cool. I've liked the third-gen MX-5s for a while now, they look nice.

lol . . . I can see what happened there. You started to get sideways, so you quickly let off the throttle and the car snapped back the other way :P (I think?)

Nice purchase anyway.
What makes the Limited different to the standard one? Is it just a plate and a bit of bling on the A-pillar?

That's exactly what happened. I scared the crap out of myself, I thought I was going to hit the curb. :(

Chrome A-pillar, chrome grill trim, chrome door handles, different rims, body colour (Velocity Red), Bose stereo system, black leather interior, cloth top (as opposed to vinyl), and my dad said something about a body brace in the engine compartment. There's no performance modifications, but the LEs were released before the regular models, so ours is the 320th 2006 model made. :)

It is RWD, though I wouldn't drift in it. I have done a few power slides, though. :P

My dad is finally gonna switch from driving old and rundown Saabs to a newer car.
He's getting a 3 years old Ford Focus C-Max to replace the 15 years old Saab 900S :D.
It's gonna be the newest and most expensive car we've had since I was born.

So.. From this..

To this:

(Obviously not the exact cars, and the C-Max won't be tuned. But the colours are correct afaik.)
We'll get the car in a couple of weeks.

:edit:

The C-Max will have the standard 1.6l 100~hp engine...
Our old Saab has a 2.0l low-pressure turbo engine with 150hp.

You do realize that the Focus and Focus C-Max are two different things?
The C-Max is like a small minivan.
My dad has been planning on getting a small minivan-type of a car for a while, because he has a bad back, and that way he wouldn't have to crouch so much when getting into the car.
So he wasn't even trying to find a car that looks good, but what is practical for him.

They probably don't have C-Maxes over there in the US, neither do they have our second gen Focus. Theirs is the one I posted 2 posts above this one, doesn't it look fantastic? :p
