Good choise aye, I picked up C and C at a 50% off sale, and its great, I've started right from the start at Tiberium Dawn, and just been playing through all of the campaigns, and it really speaks for the series that even the first games are still so entertainingkrazyammo wrote:really hoping for command&conquer the first decade and some clothes. and maybe get mw again since my current one is all sctrached up

Yeah it would be great if they did console versions of the original NFS games, like they did with a lot of the old atari games. I can't find the older NFS games anywhere. But C&C is definitely worth its money. I would have payed that price just for Tiberian Sun + Firestorm. Can't wait for C&C 3, it looks so smooth

A 7mm that can blow your head off? Has this been proven, as I've seen 9mm rounds go through someones head (i know its sick, but hey Iim into counter-terrorism etc). Tru it will PWN someone, but no blow there head off, perhaps tear the rear of the skull away, but the entry wound will still only be slightly bigger than 7mm. I'm not ripping on you, I'm interested in it, as I like to learn about stuff like that.darknight788 wrote:everybody needs means of protecting themselves i also got a ruger .22 , 7mm ( can blow your head off 6miles away ), a recently acquired remington 1100 12 guage, and im getting my conceal and carry and im going to try to get a .45.xHaZxMaTx wrote:Why on Earth do you need a shotgun?

Oh really el oh el, I'm in australia so we talk in kilometres. At that range a 7mm bullet would lose its path no problem. A Barett .50Calibre could probably make that distance, I've seen one of those put a shell through the front and out the rear of a V8 engine at 1.5 miles so I guess, after wind flow, spin etc was determined then a Barett could still do serious damage at that range.

ooops lol i just realized i typed 6 instead of 2. a 7mm has a range of about 2 miles when you use the right cratridge the bullet can exit the barrel at about 4000 fps or roughly 2730 mph or 4368 km/h and when you have a hollow point round.... well yea when a hollow point round hits something going that fast it explodes thus leaving a very large hole or in some cases that ive seen done with raccoons it completely splits them in half.
7mm bullet ----
9mm bullet ----
as you can see the 7mm bullet has waaaay more power behind it compared to a 9mm

Ah ok, I usually referencee rifle bullets in imperial size .303 .30-06 etc, but still, 2 miles is a hell of a long way, and you'd need a dead perfect day, without even a sparrow's fart of breeze, and even then at that range, it would be very hard to get an accurate shot. LOL I remember the first time I shot a feral cat with a hollow-point .243, the only thing holding the 2 halves together was its spine. I was surprised that a reasonably small rifle could have that much impact. As for hollow points, the reason they have such an impact, is that the hollow in the tip forces air fowards, creating like a hammer of air in front of the bullet, so the bullet isn't actually what hits the target, but the air in front of it, allowing the tip to explode after impact, fragmenting and causing much more damage than a standard tip. Also carving an "x" in the tip has the same effect, but with bigger fragments
