Forza Motorsport 2: New DLC planned within 2 weeks
The Wings West Civic SI (US version of the Civic Type R, but without as much HP)
So your first car was a Peugeot 207, I choose for the Volkswagen Golf GTi Mk2.
have to say it was a nice car to start with, bit underpowered but I had some money left to I tuned it up abit before I started. first thing I did was better tires and brakes. tires make such a diffirence, and brakes are usefull also and a set of big brakes looks cool.
Btw just look at how the wheels and brake discs move (and the discs light up under heavy braking) it's so cool. the wheels really move with the road and the discs also rotate at the same speed. not like the fixed brakes in NFS.

It was said that there will be downloadable contentTheStig wrote:Did anyone notice the BMW M6 (or 6 series) that was in the first intro, is not in the game.
The only BMW's that are in the game are the M3's and the V12 prototype.
I was hoping to see several other BMW's like the M5 M6 and Z3/4.
same goes for Mercedes btw.
So the M6 may incuded in these

1. My PS3's HDMI is having problemswith the potential power of the ps3 it may have a brighter future
2. I give up on the Blue-ray it stresses me out for some reason maybe it's just there...
3. I also give up connecting to Internet or whatever
4. PS2 games on it are really terrible... maybe the update hasn't came for me but still its not going well
I may sound like a X360 fan boy but nope i have a PS3 & PS2 and really im going to give it to my friend for $100 if it continues being annoying.....

Guys, this is the Forza thread!
Oh yea I decided to turn off some assists, like ABS and TCS. Changes the experience a lot! Especially turning off ABS as now you definetly can't hit the brakes with everything you've got. You'll just go straight off the track hehe.
Not to mention the advantage of FWD in cornering and RWD in accelerating in a straight track.

race_invader, you're a fanboy...i've wanted to tell you this long time ago.
On topic, yeah, Forza 2 looks great, but not better than GT, especially in terms of graphics, Forza 2 just lacks AA, and it doesnt look polished nor real as GTHD, or the upcoming GT5.
I still havent made my decision about which console to get, there are a lot of pros & cons for each, but later this year i'll definitely will.

Update: Bugs and Glitches
There are a couple bugs and glitches we are aware of and will be patching shortly with an auto-update. Here's a quick rundown of what some of you may have experienced or overheard out there in the game and/or forum land.
* That Pesky Time Trials Scoreboard Bug: Yes, you've seen it, we've seen it and it's definitely a bug. What's actually happening is that when this glitch occurs (completely randomly, I might add) the game is writing a corrupted scoreboard time to the scoreboards. This is why you end up with a handful of folks on the top of the Test Track - King Cobra Time Trial board with ridiculously fast times of .008 seconds, etc. In order to preserve the integrity of our scoreboard system, we plan on removing all corrupted entries from the leaderboard sometime next week. In the meantime, you can refrain from posting these corrupted scores to the boards and here's how -- the bug triggers when the AI fails to relinquish control to the player after a rolling start. If you see this happen, immediately reset your Xbox 360 by cycling the system's power (i.e., cold boot your machine). If you choose "Quit Race," you will post a corrupt time and we will be forced to remove it in order to keep the integrity of the scoreboard system.
* The Rumored Money Cheat/Exploit: Although we haven't tried to reproduce this exploit yet, we did witness a few guys taking unfair advantage of this cheat online. We are taking steps on the backend to patch up the security breach as soon as we can. In the meantime, if you should see a couple of guys suspiciously sell and buy a repeated series of low-priced cars for extremely high prices, or if we should catch you in the act, you will be written up and banned from Xbox Live. That's all there really is to it.
* Problems Playing Online: If you're having trouble playing Forza 2 with others over Xbox Live, it most likely has to do with restrictions in how your router is setup.

The only downside I find in Forza 2 specially compared to the original Forza is that it's to clean. but then almost all new games have that these days. they are just like everything is brand new and I am not talking about the cars, wich do get dirty while racing wich is a nice add i must say. but the landscape feels to shiny sometimes.
Forza's looks definetly aren't the best, but they're more than sufficient. When going fast you hardly notice the quality of graphics anyway.
And those of you in favour of GT(5/HD). The GTHD is more of a tech demo and GT5 is far from release, so it's not really comparable.
We all know that games look best on the console, the older it gets...

Apart from the lack of AA the gfx is pretty nice IMO, I like the way the cars look and the detail they have, some small things could have been better. like the fact that the wheels have a closed backside, but then most games have that, don't know why cause I doubt it's very hard to open the wheels so you can see the ground trough them.
But in most cases you don't notice it unless you drive a car that is high of the ground and has huge wheels, on a low car you don't even notice it. And on some cars they exhaust could have been a abit more poly (open inside) but that doesn't really bother me.
