Lol, one of the better shooters, probably the best online shooter this winter.

The game is so popular, the Microsoft servers are crashing and overflowing lol, can't play online.

Just thought I'd drop by and let everyone know 'Death From Above' alone makes this game worth $50. =P~

25mm? No way.
40mm? Still too small!
105mm? Boo-freakin'-ya. \:D/

Ah yes, firing the 105 at a bunch of cars is quite satisfying :)

However, I think the comments made by the crew on the plane are quite disparaging. Almost ruins it . . . anyway, not sure if it's worth the cost of the game, but it's certainly a must-play.

The only thing I kinda don't like is that it's about going against Russians and I'm russian so meh.
But It's just a game so I don't take it seriously. I haven't played it yet, but I don't think I'll find it too fun because I've never liked army-ish games where you had to follow exact orders or fail. Crysis and Halo are the types of games that are awesome.

you also fight with russian loyalists though (government side), and fight against the terrorist side, so you don't really lose (unless you are a terrorist?)

I have no problem playing as American...

Well now that I know that its fighting WITH the govt. and not against it that makes me happier lol. But I haven't really heard of Russian terrorists... That's like being an American in Japan or something and playing WITH the American government and AGAINST the American Terrorists, even though there really aren't any. See my point?

The don't specify what and where the terrorists are from, but it is know that it all takes place in the south parts of Russia, near arab countries, so they are basicly the (nowadays) classic muslim terrorists. not specificly russian terrorsts, more like multi national terrorists.

And for those who don't like to be a US soldier, you play most of the game a a Brit 8)

BTW I don't see the problem with the whole, OMG I have to fight the russians..
I mean common Russia is still our most loved enemy.
Countless movies are made with the russians as the bad guys, but it all lost it's glamour after the iron curtain fell, after that the commie treat was gone so they had to find a new enemy to use, and first it was China (and sometimes it still is (recent James Bond movies (exept Casino Royal), Battlefield 2 you name it) but now it is all Terrorists shooting etc.
Look I have nothing against the Russians, or any other nation, let that be clear.

Man I love WWII shooters and I was even born in Germany and you don't see me complaining that you have to shoot germans, and in campain always have to play as the good guys

I'll just say that I might enjoy CoD4 but I might not, because I've never really liked War/Army/etc... games.

Myeah, but I really wondered if Price really died.. I can imagine Ubi would use him in 5 too. But by the looks of that Russian, he look quite dead to me.

Well I expected a diffirent ending, so I didn't think it was very lame.
IMO it would be more lame if there was a happy ending where everybody that is mentioned by name would survive.
And you did in the second story as a US Marine

You play online on 360?

I started today with online CoD4, damn, it's awesome xD. I'm currently level 11, so I have all the crappy weapons.

Question: Why is Imran Zakhaev still alive after being shot with a .50 cal rifle 15 years prior? :|

I got him in the shoulder... with a .50 cal... That should, like, tear his arm off. Not to mention that would be a really sloppy wound that would be difficult to dress, and good luck putting a tourniquet anywhere that will keep him from bleeding out.

Eh, good point. I guess I shouldn't really suspect any better if you can run around being shot umpteen times because you heal in 10 seconds.

You should also have noticed that he doesn't have right arm in the rest of the game, as long as you aim at him (his body) the bullit will hit his arm/shoulder, it is ofcourse programmed but it is to replicate forces like gravity and the coriolis effect.

Ooh and Tyrant, I haven't played COD4 online, I tried 2 days after I got the game (and finished the single player mode) but the servers where to busy... :D

Yeah, that's an triggered event.
I was trying ages to hit that helicopter from the truck, and couldn't believe it didn't go down, but that was because it wasn;t supposed to go down.
