I just got ripped off at target

I bought an X360 game Platinum Hits for 29.99 and the game had not been opened but the disc was scratched and when I played the game I set my controller down and my guy just started walking around and just shoot nonstop without me even coming close to my controller

I restarted my X360, turned the controller on and off, and even tried to change the controller config and nothing worked so I just said that the game is messed up

you could take it back and get a new one if it isn't too late.

I had a crack in my Gears of War disc, and i went to Gamestop, and they gave me a new disc for free. AWESOME.
but i don't play it anymore.

My dad & mum brought a nec plasma tv, ive connected my xbox 360 to it with component cables, which make the it run at 1080i seeing ive set the settings on my console, the question i have is do you think it would be worth buying HDMI cables? the plasma does have the ports for HDMI, also would it improve picture quality at all? :)

You're actually better off running at 720p on that telly, especially in fast games, seeing as how i only manages 30 real fps (60 interlaced).

Rather than complain about it just grab your receipt, go back to the store, and exchange it for another one. :P

Honest opinion, if you had the choice between the 360 Premium, and the 360 Elite, (considering price,) which would you choose? I'm thinking I should get the Elite just because I'm pretty sure I'd manage to fill up that 20 Gig Hard Drive pretty quickly, but seeing as I've never been on the 360 Shop, (or w/e it's called,) I don't really know for sure. lol

I can pretty much afford both, I just want to know what the actual user's opinions are. :P

I haven't filled my 20GB and i have 1 downloaded game on it and 4? arcade games, 2 xbox live accounts. Alot of saved game data too including download content, I have 10GB remaining still. So 20GB isn't that bad at all.

Also depends if you're gonna store music and vids on it, or stream them from your pc.

Oh, and the elite looks cooler and is much less of an eyesore when in amongst other av equipment.

MOVING ON.......

Is a Xbox 360 supposed to be able to lag? Because I was playing Halo 3, in a tank, when somehow it kept lagging... (not much, just enough to weewee me off)

And race invader, if your TV can handle 1080p, it makes a big difference. I've got a Samsung 40" LCD, looks absolutely brilliant compared with the normal settings. I can't run it on AV1 (which is all my other stuff, like my PS2, DVD) but have to run it on "component 1" channel...

The Elite actually runs cooler and more stable than the Premiums. I actually have a 20GB and it is almost full. I have around 20 Arcade games, usually have 2-3 demos which are usually 1-2 GBs. Game saves and such take up space once you have 10-15 games  . I am debating buying a 120 GB so I don't have to worry about the space on my Xbox. Right now I stream music and movies from my PC right now.

Accounts don't take a lot of space. There is alot of content available online on the Marketplace so have fun searching around and downloading gamer pictures and themes for your xbox.
