thats nuts!! love it but i dont know about all these other cars people are putting into their wishlist. some expensive cars are great like the 350z in UG:1 but i think only melissa had one, which is ok because there wasnt heaps of them... street racing is not for cars that cost an arm and a leg just to hire
50000 Euros won't get you a new porsche? Who cares on new, for 50k you can get a f-cking 993 Turbo or Carrera RS (like 1998) or 996 Carrera from 1999 or so with around 70k-80k kilometers on the clock. That's 300HP and oh baby, baby, who would want to even look at the new Z. Not me, that's for sure.
Porsche should be in the Underground, like just a 911 Carrera 2, because it just won't be right if a bonus car like that doesn't exist. You get all these cheap Civics and Eclipses with big exhaust, and there is ALWAYS someone with one sick car, a real sports car. I have friends who I meet, we all drive, and I have a friend driving a BMW 540i. And very few of us drive cars which are that expensive (we are young, but his family is loaded and he doesn't have to work for it - if I buy a 540i I'll have to eat once a week!), but still, I think it's wrong that EA decided what's Underground and what's not, and we have to live with so many cars that have no charisma. Name one car in NFSU that you can really be passionate about and really want it. See. There should be at least one... (and no bodikit can convince me that NEON or Civic are 'sick' cars).

Ok, Q, explain why we got Neon and Sentra. Just because you can tune the shiz out of them doesn't really qualify them to be in the game. Isn't it often a theme in those racing movies, and often in all those user made street racing films - some Cossie with 400bhp is taking on a 911, or an insanely tricked out Civic Hatch is trying to do smth against M3 Evo? Even the (oh dear god I said it) in FF you not only have the ecplipses, but there is a Muscle car as well. That was my point - to make it complete you need to put smth like that, a bonus car.
My complaint to EA's decision on what's underground: They chose the car to enter just because there is tons of plastic accessories for them on the market, rather than picking the cars that are most popular for tuning (as they try to claim). BMW 3 must have been there, it's what many want to 'upgrade' to with more money. Yet it's not that insanely expensive and the E36 is very affordable.
And you can't know what good all that money they spent on research did. I don't think NFSU is a first rate game btw

In response to UrQ's question: FD3S...Mazda RX-7. Passionate and sick in the right "context". It's a car I'd dream of owning and would love it completely if I owned one. They aren't that rare, don't have BMW or Porsche attached to their arses, and "tuners" are in love with them...but the RX7 is a real beast when worked with properly.

Now that they can look at the NFSU community they'll have the chance to "hear" from the fans what is "Underground" and what isn't.

It's all subjective true, and while I love the Supra's lines, given a choice between it and some wicked M3 I wouldn't have a second thought of picking the beemer. But good point, all subjective. I guess I am dissapointed, being someone who owned both VW and Audis before see the Golf GTI 'representing' german engeneering. But NFSU is American game, in america german cars are really very expensive and hence japanese are much more affordable popular. Guess that's where their popularity mainly comes from. So in NA, it's one thing, in Europe another. My NFSU would be filled with Audi's, BMW, W8 Passat's, and some retro Porshes and some nice British cars thrown into the mix, like Mondeo ST220 or Focus RS, of course with Cossie Escorts and may be an occasional Astra GSRI or whatever it's tla is.

i think one thing EA is not realising is variety isnt the most important thing. like they wanted small cars, very common import cars, and never before seen modded cars in NFSU... i really dont get it. the only reason i can think of as why they dont just put in all the greatest import cars is cause they probably have to pay alot of royalties to manufacturers depending on their popularity. it sounds wierd but it makes sense. not many of the cars available are very popular where i am at. so basically manufacturers have sold the name and usage of the car design and name to EA depending on how popular the car is.

im pretty sure ea decided to put in "sick" civics and neons because there are people out there who when mum or dad buys a new car, the kids get the hand me downs, instead of buying a euro ($$$) car, they spend their money in making their new-old civic look good. cars in the same price range as civics have plenty of customizable party because manufactorers leave room for improvement unlike BMW that cost over 70,000 AUD, for that much i wouldnt want to have to get a few more grand to make it look awsome... kids arnt going to buy a car like that a race it round street. want a list of $$$ cars - buy GT4
