The Sylvia is a really competitive car, especially compared to the mazda 3 (I really don't have a clue why anyone is still driving it above level 5 orso), and have had really good wins in it.

But now, currently @ level 32 in a cosworth rs, I don't worry when a pro tuned Sylvia enters a race. And I have never lost against them in this car. BUT: when a mr2 joins a race, anything above top speed, say 360 (don't know about the other values ACC and HND), I got my ass kicked a lot. Now I don't have an mr2, but the topspeed >360 I think indicates it has some pro parts on it (?). Everything is fast on it, starting at the perfect launch. Mostly it seems it takes a second orso to kick in. So I'm ahead but then it flies by. And keeps flying, handling looks great as well

Pro parts on a MR2 can kick the acceleration and top speed to +400. I had mine like that. Now with Ultra parts performance can rise even more. I haven't bought Ultra parts for my MR2 yet, but I'm sure it will go past 450.

My CCX (currently my only car with proper Ultra parts) is past 700 and overall is at 695! I just need to buy it some Ultra brakes and I'm sure overall it will be 700 or more.

i'm now driving an Exige, but i know the bmw e30 is better.

aha so there's something better than a pro part... Ultra parts are boosts only I assume? I thought there were only 3 levels:

Street
Race
Pro

And each level having a Tuned state which adds some more performance...

Well I only have 1 T2 car, so I haven't got much to compare it with But I can share which cars are the most competitive in T2 races that I meet online (so I guess they must be popular):

Audi Quattro 20V
Chevrolet El Camino SS
Renault Megane Sport RS
Lotus Exige Cup
Lotus Elise
Ford Escort Cosworth RS

I don't know what can be done with the Quattro, but I've recently met them. Read: "lost from them", we all got beaten with a 10+ seconds gap.
The El Camino can be fast as well (topspeed > 510 stats) but track dependant. I beat them in the Cosworth in Brooks Streets, but I lose at for instance Beachfront.
And finally, what's with the Megane??? Just yesterday I met 1 and a Zonda. The Zonda launched off but after some corners (plus hard corner in Dover + Lepus) the Megane caught up and passed it?! I came in 3rd, the topspeed stats were +/- 570. No powerups used, the guy talked about good handling. Can that be done or did he cheat?

yeah sinds a few days the platinum packs introduced.
now it is:

Street: max number: 4
Race: max number: 9
Pro: max number: 13
Ultra: max number 17

with number i mean the higest persentage of performance boost.

yeah i heard some peeps indeed say the camino is good. but i have the red juggernaut but so far i wouldn't say its very fast (maybe i should take it to a race ;P)
i now use the Exige cup to race my times, but it's biggest disadvantage is the weak nos effect.
i can try the camino but i think my exige is better

About the El Camino: this is at brooks street:
Can the El Camino go this fast? I know this is a top 100 time in the world rankings on this track. So is this just a cheater or can it make these times? As a matter of fact, I just checked, it is the 67th place on Brooks Street. If it is a cheater, how can you tell?

i don't know if it is a cheater, but ik do know the car can reach 321 max at lvl 50.
btw for everyone who wants to buy a T2:

no.1 El camino 250.000 igc
no2. Toyota supra (after it last updat it a lot faster its faster then a elise or escort)
no.3 Elise or Escort

a few weeks ago the toyota supra was upgraded,
it's acceleration, top speed and handling are inproved.
i have the shift 2 edition (race tuned) and it reached 319 km/h without nos.
if you want a fast car with a decent handling take this one.

its faster then a elise, but the handling is less good.

Good tip, I was wondering about the supra after the update! Because in real life that car goes in my list of favorite cars good that it can be bought with igc. I will definately try it soon (have to get some more money). Hopefully I got some parts left to tune it a bit

I got an M1 for tier 3 now, and I can only say 1 thing: it is definately not built to drive slow with. I can recommend it to any1. Man, that thing is fast, but above all: ANGRY grrrrr BARK BARK BARK

that was a typo btw I set a 3:01 in the escort on route 55, so I would have caught him as well. And really, I'm for sure not that fast, and the world record is even a half minute faster. So no big deal, but the car's behaviour must seem cheat-ish I think.
New problems arise with it: I have to learn the tracks again. I can't simply stay on the same lines as normal, I need to lift more before and in corners. And by God, I have no clue where to use nitro: it's too fast

But then again, I don't have another Tier 3 car to compare it with... any1 else got an M1 ?

i don't have a procar, but yeah its fast, it can be compared with the gt3rs but i think it is equal to it.(as i experienced it in races)

The fastest car in Nfs World is considered to be the Porsche GT3 RS.

Although its on par with M1 Procar, Koeniggsegg CCX and Mustang RTR-X overall I would still prefer GT3.

If you are a good enough driver... any of these 4 cars would bring you to victory !

Tier 1 Nissan Silvia
Tier 2 Lotus Elise
Tier 3 BMW GTR E46
(without spending boost)

You have to consider the El Camino SS for best IGC t2, if you don't hit anything, chances are you'll beat most elise drivers.

And for t3 IGC the Lotus Evora is a serious contender, as opposed to the M3 E46

quick update: last time i played was last thursday...

T1 IGC: silvia or mx-5 (isn't the is350 or rx-8 igc already? so yes: thats the one you need.)
T2 IGC: camaro zl1 its better then my lotus exige
T3 IGC: lamborghini murcielago (you'll need some skills to drive it) or the lotus evora.

T1 boost: Toyota mr2
T2 boost: i say m3 e30 (dunno if the zl1 is faster)
T3 boost: porsche gt3 rs (still the best all rounder)

Curretly S class king is Lexus LFA and A class king murc Roadster Both IGC

It all depends upon the class/tier.
For me, I love S15, Mustang '69, LP640, LP650
