Dissapointing again
nfsu2's first god car
Some guy wrote a faq on it on ign.com, and his conclusion is at the bottom: the best overall car is the RSX
If he's right, I like that. But it's sad to see that the RX7 again (NFSU1) is rated by this guy as the fastest circuit car. There were some good rumours about more different cars online. But that was b/4 the release date. I could see 4 different cars at the start, something which was very rare in NFSU1. But unfortunately... The more I browse this forum, the more I realize that, again, there will be only a few cars ppl will use online. We're all whining about the carlist and surprise-surprise, we're all driving little RX7's or 240SX's (orso)
Dissapointing again
but w/e: online-mode suks anyways
Dissapointing again
I've noticed a LOT of folks online running the RX8 for circuit mode, and they SPANK my Skyline (stage 3 mods) and my Evo (also stage 3). I haven't tried it yet (lazy), but was wondering if others had thoughts on whether the RX8 was the god car for circuit mode. Makes sense...EA has trended towards marketing being the choice of which car fares better, and since the RX8 is new and trendy... well, you get the picture.

regarding the 240SX/200SX engine,
the american market got the KA24 engine, but tha japs market with the SR20, both are interesting engines. There is another rare version of the SR20 which is the SR20VE (NEO VVL), all of them are NA, not force induction. If you have that masterpiece, well. congratulation. popular mod on it is using the SR20DET's piston and using the stock turbine, If you are not happy enough, hook up with the HKS hybrid turbine, and push it in higher boost presure, there you got yourself SR20VET. pushing the SR20 -or- KA24 to a 500 horse roughly 15~20 grand USD. considering aftermarket turbine, intercooler....thats alot money in my opinion

Having finally finished the game for the first time - having to go to work getting in the way of the enjoyment of this offering from EA - I have just started using the Vauxhall Corsa.
What a sweet ride! It corners like its on rails (caught me out at first after driving the Monaro/GTO, I can tell you). This is my StreetX car now, left all the bigger cars I was racing against in my dust (and it'll do over 220MPH as well - although I haven't had a chance to try a drag race, I suspect it will rock being so light and with such quick acceleration.)
