Uhh, I don't think they removed the grille. If that's a '70 Charger (or a '68, although I don't think it is, I believe it's got the bar tailight, although my memory is sketchy).Drewb99 wrote:... with the grill and all the badging removed so they don't have to pay Dodge for the rights
Meanwhile, my favorite car from 2F2F was the Challenger. I'm biased towards Mopar, and old-school muscle (I'm glad to see that they left the Camaro and Challenger looking stock). Also, I prefered 2F2F to TFAF. I suppose part of it was that I watched Gone In Sixty Seconds (the remake) immediately after the Fast and the Furious, which has left me biased (I found GISS considerably better than TFAF). Niether of the movies were particulairly great, so it comes down to which has fewer flaws. 2F2F has more American cars (although I'm irked that they destroyed the Mustang and the Corvette), no Vin Diesel (as his suck considerably overpowered Paul Walker's suck), and slightly more logic ("ain't double-clutching like you should" WTF is that! I don't think anyone in the movie was driving a transport truck or, well, any car that didn't have synchros).

I meant the S14A, the facelift model. Some people say the US got them, some still come to our club, see them and ask what the hell they are. Judging that yours is a 98, it could well be the A and not the regular S14.

S14A:

As far as I know, they were all SR20 powered. At least for the UK spec they were anyway.

The Challenger R/T was Orange with Black trim. I assume the Camaro was actually a Yenko. The Skyline was the best looking car in part 2 and certainly the best one. I think it would have taken those muscle cars. The actor who drove the Challenger R/T played Ian Nottingham on the tv show Witchblade from a couple of years ago. Eric Etebari is his name. I've seen the guy who drove the Camaro before he played a hoodlum in lethal weapon 3, the guy that ended up in the cement and Travis joking about putting his initials in the cement.Drewb99 wrote:The blue car was the Camaro
(gonna leave it at Camaro because heaven knows what they did to the car to make it look faster on film, probably not Yenko frames)
The Challenger was red or black or something.
