Rofl. You are guessing. I can handle any car. Thats not the point. The point is that the Juiced graphics suck hard. And that is MY opinion. Hey, this is a topic with a poll asking if you like Juiced or not. And I made my point.TheStig wrote:let me guess you can't handle the cars...![]()
it isn't a sissy arcade racer like NFSU where you can do anything with the car before it even thinks of spinning out...
it is still arcade game but a bit more realistic then NFSU
And I like NFSU1 because at this moment is the only one where I can edit tons of stuff.

None of these game have super realism - they are all arcade games, for arcade fun...

I don't think it's shiny and shiznit. It IS shiny and shiznit.Pelado wrote:You think NFSU2 graphics are "shiny and shiznit". I think Juiced graphics are crap. So what? Different opinions. And the way you said "you prefer graphics over gameplay" you are thinking Juiced gameplay is muuuuuuuuuuch better than NFSU2. Which is not IMO.
My point is that I think that Juiced is better because it's quite a challenge to control the car.Sir Ibi wrote:lol - realisticness? is that a word? OK Juiced got some things that are graphicwise less like the crowds that are watching... they are 2d wich bothered me in the beginning (demo time) but I don't even see them anymore..
I like the fact that it is not in a shiny BLING BLING world like NFS U2 is NFS U was pretty good it was shiny but not over the top... U2 is!!
but if you look at the cars the cars in Juiced are 10 times better models, they are way more accurate, the sizes are correct in NFS U(2) they where often to long or wide, in other words in correct! like the Supra in NFS U(2) it was WAAAY! to long it looked bulky and out of place! it it totally a incorrect model wich made the Supra look like a UGLY car, then take a look at the Juiced version it looks like a good car.
also for the Supra the bodykits NO kit looked good on it in NFS but the Bomex and Veilside kits in juiced fitted perfectly and made the car look even better even the no name kit fitted the model.
the only GFX thing that isn't that detailed are on some cars the logo's and the head/rearlights aren't always beauties... but overall they look way better then the NFS counterparts

Firstly i'll say i like both games, both to me are different, NFSU is a real street racing game, that steers on arcade conrol, whist Juiced on the other, is plainly more of a circuit racing game which is more realistic handling and everyone should know that you can only like either game based on your preffered driving style.
To me though nfsu & nfsu2 are both easier to play interms of handling, at first i dispised Juiced's handling cuz it felt so different from NFSU's but i gave it a shot anyway and now i consider it a bit better interms of handling(more realistic).
In NFSU, u can go through races without even braking and win, whilst in Juiced, u have to have perception to determine when to brake, gear down and speed out. So interms of handling that depends on preference, as i said i like both but Juiced's handling is more challenging to me.
-------------------------------------------------
Car Models, what can i say, its clear that Juiced has better mode(more accurate)l for the majority of their cars, head lamps, tail lights in Juiced do look a bit lame but its minor but if u like shiny, bling bling, plastic cars then NFSU would be better for you.
Bodykits are more realistic looking in Juiced but sadly not enough, even though NFSU has some lame kits, it has more, hence a better range and choosability, so better customization hence more personalisation. I personally rather NFSU's visual customization cuz of more options.
-----------------------------------------------
Graphics, hmm, Juiced has very lame looking environments, lame 2d crowds, nice road texture though and whilst racing depending on graphics level, the cars look quite appealing.Nfsu has better looking garages, better looking environments and their plastic cars.
---------------------------------------------- --
Music, both have quite lame soundtracks, but nfsu1 was better, nfsu2 soundtracks are lamer than Juiced's.
------------------------------------------------
Hence i'd say i rather some aspects of each but now i'm playing Juiced and believe me its hard to actually obtain money and keep it for a long period of time.

Hmmm, just tried out my hands at Juiced today. I have to say that it didn't have a good first impression of me unfortunately, sorry to break this down to Juiced lovers...
Having been playing only NFS games for car games, I'm not very impressed with the graphics, looks very "MS-Dos" kinda games, like the old time games. The NOS effect was the worst IMO. Not only that, but the game also lags alot when I change the TRACK DETAILS settings. It seems to me that it has to be extremely low in order for the game to run smoothly, which I still don't get it why...
The game isn't very user-friendly either, I still prefer NFSU2, the clarity is there, compared to Juiced. The cars' handling is way more sensitive than I thought... The car swerves too easily with a push of a direction button, which makes the car to bang on the walls easily, which is not very pleasent, as you have to pay for the damages, which don't come cheap at times. The game modes were also too little, so I think I'll get bored with this game pretty fast. r the music, HELL NO WAY! The music sucked to the max! Out of all the songs, why put Shapeshifters' Bring It Back? It so doesn't fit!!
Well, enough of the negative. But on the positive side, I do love the visual customizations. A little tough to understand as I'm a new player of Juiced and never tried the demo at all, but it all worked out great. The car varieties were also good too, way more than NFSU2. PLUS, the races are pretty challenging too...

I'm still in the beginning stages of the game. I'll post my final thoughts of this game after I've completed my whole career modes. For the moment, out of a scale of 1 - 10, I'll rate this game: 6.2.

You're right about that! I did ran outta cash though, for a pretty long period. But I did some free races to get back on track on racing again, so that's a relief. The showoff mode was 'OK' for me, but it was definately better than in NFSU2 where you only get to take pictures. Unfortunately, Juiced doesn't have the option, which is simply too bad, hehe...samurilos wrote:Hence i'd say i rather some aspects of each but now i'm playing Juiced and believe me its hard to actually obtain money and keep it for a long period of time.

Because your videocard doesn't pack enough punch?Andre_online wrote:
