Is is a van or a SUV??
Focer wrote:I want to know what kind of cars have you been growing in since you were born
Well, if that's the case, My mom used to have an old Buick (sp?) don't know what model/year and I don't really care. Anyway it was stolen and that was the end of that. Also, she drove her 64.5 Mustnag when it still worked and her like 76 Civic. My dad used to have a Corver (sp?) and an El Camino, at least I think it was. :? He also drove the '78 Celica and '82 325i I alrady told you about, and that's pretty much it before we got all the new cars.

My dad bought the 1980 AMC Eagle my mom always uses when he was 19 for a whooping $2000 from a dealer. Then a few years later he bought a Buick tho I don't know the model or year or price of the dumb thing. Then a few years after that he got the Toyota he has now for $1500 bucks. That is some good car dealing. My sis wants to get something like a Corvette Z06 or some other used car. My bro I don't know what he's going to get. He basically hates cars because I like them. As for me I want to get something different from everyone else in my family. Either a 350Z or an RX-8. Depending on which one is cheaper.

Are you talking about the Dodge Charger Daytona (which is pretty much the same thing as the Plymouth Superbird), or the Dodge Daytona from the 80's (FWD sport coupe)?

And, as for what I grew up in, at the time of my birth, my parents owned an '85 Pontiac Sunbird. They later bought a '90 Hyundai Sonota, a '93 Plymouth Sundance, and a '89 Dodge Grand Caravan (before the cars we own now). How I ended up as obsessed with cars as I am (considering their apathy towards them), I'm not entirely certain.

I know it was the late 80's (87 sounds right). It was probably, like so many Chrysler cars in that time, related to the K-car. And, like alot of the turbo Mopars, pretty fast for the time (and has potential for even more, some have gotten their Caravans with the turbo 2.2 to do the quarter-mile in the low 12's)). I recall that the '92 Daytona IROC got from 0-60 in something like 6.4 seconds (needless to say, fairly impressive for a cheap American four-cylinder). It just had alot of torque steer.
