Well, guys, I will keep the RX7 flag! 390.03!! Yeah baby. So drafting... The thing is, if you look at my previous posts, I did not think this game has been done to this level. So naturally, I ignored drafting - I though it was DRIFTING, stupid me.
Now that I do slipstream type drag race - it's easily 380-390 all the time. Keep in mind, little chances of winning. But the records are here. Oh, and the Unigue upgrd.s are : TURBO, ENGINE, NOS
So, join the 390km/h + club!

I believe the skyline can get to those speeds. so can Rx7. My dream would be the nice 400 - but I doubt that's possible, w/o cheats.
Now, you guys, here is what I tried to do after I clocked at 390.03. I did repeated runs, and by letting them go in front of me, I'd see a car I want to follow. It's hard to time it, but you need to go downhill right after it and hit it just on finish line.
And this is the ultimate trick that I though it will work - but it didn't a slighests bit. Pay attention, may be you can do it.:
At the start - I go BACKWARDS and give my self some room - looks 40 metres or so. The girl who gives you a start runs after you. It's funny. SO I start from way back thinking to reach a better speed. But I can't! Because there is noone to get behind anymore, they all finished. So without drafting and with this 'trick' I got only to 388. That's full throttle. I thought I was so clever.... Damn. You try it if you think this may increase the speed. I couldn't even get back to 390's.
See the pics for some explanation
