That makes 95% of the world "weak."
So America = The world ?

I think that at least in Finland only about 10% of people between the ages 10 and 30 are religious. At least i don't think i know anyone that believes in god that is even close to my age.
Older people in Finland are more religious but nowhere near 95%.
I would say under 50% of the population in Finland are religious and i bet under 5% of them go to church on a regular basis. I'm a member of the church but i never go to church unless there's a funeral or something and so does most of the Finnish population.

Unless you have read that from a recent census, your knowledge would have to be pretty limited. Just to remind you on your "infromation"... You are pretty much saying what you "think" Finland is, yet, you have never met all of the 10 - 30 year olds in person.

Maybe i should drag your ass to court (that is the american way, isn't it?) for insulting me by saying i'm a drug user. And i think i know a bit more about Finland that you'll ever know even though i haven't met every finn in person. And i admit the numbers i said are probably really inaccurate but i bet you don't know shiznit about any other country but your own so i wouldn't advice you to start stating facts of the world that you haven't proven in any way (i'm referring to the 95% of the world population being religious).

Hey, Jopuma, I don't know about where you live, but you can work when you're 14 here in America if you have a work permit. I used to make minimum wage at school Freshman year, oh boy!

About this whole religion thing, everyone go ahead and believe what they want, but when your parents isolate you from society like that, you're not going to be prepared for the world when (if) you leave to go live on your own. Being grounded just for going a couple hundred feet from the house is just crazy. You said yourself that you don't have any friends, and IMO that's just weird.

You say that God will find a girl for you, I'm assuming that you think God will also do a lot more for you as well. (correct me if I'm wrong, but please don't take it as an insult or anything like that.) Ok, that's all fine and dandy, but you're not going to excel in anything if you expect God to do everything for you. You need to help move things along, you need to get out in the world and make friends, and hang out and what not. You can still go on with your studies and religion, but that doesn't mean you have to be completely isolated from the rest of the world.

Ya, that's my opinion... And no, I don't have a religion.

lol m8 your right next to australia, you should know that we're not allowed to drive performace cars or car with after-market mods. Only when you get your full licence you can do that.

and religion....i wouldnt say that its for weak pple, IMHO, it's more for people that want a way to explain things around them and gain just that little bit of control in their lives ( " OMG, our car got hijacked, let pray so it can be found safe again " )

Well I am in soccer if most people have forgotten.

I don't expect Him to do everything for me. All I want from Him is forgiveness of my sins, to come home to Him when I die, and to help me through this life by sending protection against demons and Satan. That's all I want. I can do everything else.

Not in Colorado. They have strict laws against it and there isn't any work permit that I know of. If the coppers find out that a young kid is working for a company (unless its family owned and the kid is the owners son or something) they could lose their business and get packed with fines.

On that part it shows you don't know my parents. The homeschool me for about 17 years of my life and in my senior year of highschool they send me off to a public school like my bro is going to right now. That way we see how things in public schools work and all that way we're prepared for college.

My parents aren't easily convinced. Besides they don't really want to bury their own kid. My neighborhood has gotten worse ever since I was 4. A few nights ago everybody was woken up by three gunshots. There was even a gunfight over by Sonic where my bro works. That's why they like keeping taps on us. Not to mention our street has a lot of lawbreakers speeding down a 25mph road at 50mph.

my friend..last year i had a gun pulled on my head...my neighbours got killed by police..we got hijacked;i dont think i need 2 carry one....its a violent world out there, now its your choice whether you want to stay indoors and be 'safe' or take a chance and enjoy life, unfaltering.

as for your comment about pple speedin, ROFL  , if that was the worst thing in the world, the entire world would have to be under lock and key

WTF? Are you 17?

I know how your parents are, mines were that way (well maybe not THAT hard...) but yeah. When I was 15 I wanted to go out with friends (weekends, nighttime) but they didnt want me to go out, since "there is a lot of violence during the night" bla bla bla, so I finally ended isolated.

At 17, people usually spend the whole night out of home while my hour limit was 10pm (I had to arrive home at that hour) so I just ignored them and enjoyed a great Saturday night with some friends and arrived home at 3.00 am. My parents were not in bed (LOL) they were worried and that...

I got a job that summer, so that I could buy some good clothes and other stuff for myself. From that day they respected me and allowed me to spend the whole nights out, (and other things) so now Im free 8)

That is just an example, I had a lot of problems and I kept solving them in a similar way. Basically the STFU and let me live method is highly effective.

Now this is what you are going to do:
boganbusman wrote:OK Jopuma, here's what you need to do:

Go down to your local shops (without your parents permission) and get a job. Then go to the mall, hang out, join a social club or something. When you get home and your parents start bitching at you, tell them to get stuffed. You want to be in control of your own life, and have some freedom. Getting a job will prove that you can be responsible on your own, and your parents will drop the 'don't go past three houses down the street' rule. Before you know it, you'll have friends, workmates and some income, as well as respect from your parents.
Then hang out, go clubbing and meet a hot girl :P (or a hot boy........) and don't forget that your religion says "Love everybody". So God is allowing you to love a girl, it's good.

About the commandements... WTF? The 5th is "Don't kill", the 4th is "honor your father and your mother"... oh well this is the proof that commandements are not the same in all the countries, which means commandements don't come from God, but from a bunch of drunk dudes that wrote a book called Bible 2000 years ago.
Anyways if you think that God himself created those comandements,,,, it's not OBLIGATORY to follow them all the time. I mean, there is a commandement that say something like "Sex is forbidden".. obviously that makes no sense. Without sex, the humans wouldn't even exist any more. Oh well, I hope you are not one of those who still think that the kids come from Paris

Officially 95% of world population is religious, but that's a mere fiction. In fact, most of people are not religious, yeah they're officially, but not practically. Go to any church around here and you will only find 4-5 grandmothers (the weekends) and nobody during the week!

Seriously, just ignore what your parents say as long as they don't respect you. WTF at the 100meters thing... Dude that makes sense for a 10 years old kid, but you are almost a man! Disobey your parents! You are not a property of them!! They are not untouchable!

_______________________________________

And now I'm talking about myself. I began the college the monday. It's great!!!! 8) Ii feel very good. The mates are so nice, I have become friend of 5-6 dudes with who I am all the time, and I have known about 1/3 of the rest mates... we are 150 so it's a hard job! haha

I'm studying a computers career, I dont know the English name... Software Engineering? LOL. Yeah it's a engineering, but I dont know the English name.

The bad thing is I have to take the bus aaaaaaalll the days and I'm getting pretty sick. I think I will use the STFU-method again in order to get my parents car. For an unknown reason they dont want me to get the Seat Toledo and drive it alone--- WTF? They dont trust me haha.

BTW 85% of the students are guys.. WTH! there are about 15-20 girls and 3 of them are really sexy. I have a semi-gf though (not a friend, not a official gf :P), or a friend with privileges, you name it. The funniest thing is that this morning I met her at the bus (she studies Economics) and........ my ex-gf Maite was with her!! Image It was great to see her face when I kissed the other girl. I didnt know that these 2 girls were friends, and Maite obviously didnt either  OMG was great! I think she was kinda jealousy.

I think I still feel something for Maite! Image

Well, nice day at school otherwise :P

Hard to believe all of this started several pages back in a conversation about girls and me not having time for them then it blew up into a big religion thing. Wow. I didn't expect this to happen.

Saying "Maybe i should drag your ass to court (that is the american way, isn't it?)" doesnt make you seem like the person to know a bit about the Americas either.

But anyways, I was talking around 90-95 % of the world is religious. It doesnt mean 90 - 95% of Finland, just 90 - 95% of the world. :)
