I never caught on with that show.. Anyways, I dont HATE anime. I just choose not to watch it because I see so many kids watch the shows, draw the cartoons, dress the jap style ,and then want to move to Japan. I have 4 friends at my school like that. Obsessed with Anime... For people on this forum the best example would be Jopuma with his desire to talk smack about the US and praise Japan for their accomplishments. (no offense;) )

But it's the only anime I like. Some of my mates convinced me to watch Ghost in the Shell the other day, and damn . . . it was bloody boring.

It's pretty much because there is a story in anime series.. The Simpsons doesn't have a story, it's just random.

It literally drags you in, and there are so many choices of what you want to watch. Maybe you should try out some more ''serious'' anime.

I've only really watched 3 anime shows so far. And 2 of them are great/good and the third is just average but watchable.
Other anime-series i've tried out i haven't really liked or found them too boring.
There are a lot of great anime movies i do like...

Well, I could try watching an anime, but I just wont really get obsessed over it. I normally dont even watch TV at all. I prefer full length movies.

All i can say if you where borred you didn't understand the story. But i think most people here also watched the movie Final Fantasy the Spirits within (also anime). But anime is there in many genre's, but most people only knew a few and just dislike anime because of that. But they don't know what else is out there. But everybody has his or her own opinion on stuff so. But you have also some anime in the same type as simpsons and family guy only with a japanese tint added to it.

Well if you prefer movies and want to see great anime...
Check out a movie called "Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi" (Spirited Away (USA)).
It's one of the best anime movies ever if not the best imo.

Ahh . . . I actually don't mind other movies by that director (can't remeber his name) but Spirited Away is the most screwed up movie I have ever seen. If I was a little kid when I watched it, then I would be having nightmares and stuff for the rest of my life

Heck ya. I saw that in theatres once. A second time on Sci-Fi channel. And most likley a third time when my dad figures out when he's gonna buy it.

Does anyone run into these ricers with fart pipes on their cars? Tonight on Hugenot road coupe of asswipes decided to mope along holding up traffic in their pieces of sh*t cars. One was a red 240sx hatchback and the other some was unknown car. probably an old mazda hatchback or something. These two idiots wouldnt speed up or move finally the blue one moved. After I passed them aways they came hauling ass by me. Ricers. It took them a while to catch up because they were driving sh*tboxes.
