NFS Most Wanted
I really think if I start a new topic on this...it will probably be locked...so I'll just put it in here for now.
Known information on NFS X:
- possible downloadable content - new cars?
- continuation of the Underground series
- comes out at the end of the year (chances are: November 2006)
- possible official announcement end of month with screenshots following in March
Thanks for http://www.nfsu2.de ...even though most of the information was already known.
--------------------------------
EDIT: Also, does anyone know what car is that...looks like a Lexus but I'm not sure...
btw, it's from MW...

You mean night races but EA might put in day and night races...the information is not a hoax..it's gathered from different sources and patterns (e.g. EA released a NFS every November) and chances are it will be a continuation of the Underground series, unless EA decides to squeeze more money out of MW and release a crappy MW2...the same way they did UG and UG2.Andre_online wrote:Hmm, now EA's sticking with afternoon races?2furio wrote:Known information on NFS X:

As much as I remember, it was 100% sure EA would release MW after UG (with all the rumours, even at Gamespot), so for me, it was shocking when UG2 was announced. And I will be shocked if EA does NOT continue with the UG series.
Gah I hate you! I've tried and failed that challenge so many times and the one time I did actually succeed the game crashed when I hit the button to see the pursuit summary screens.. grr..Fishwhiz wrote:well thats nothing compared to the challenge series 68 and i made it.
EDIT: I finally beat it!! Now i just have to do the same in my other profiles.. :s

From what I've seen, not many people are so enthusiastic about EA's future plans for downloadable content for NFS. Anyways, for those who are interested and were worried the content would be only for X360, here's the official word from EA:
I've been doing some scanning and seeing some concerns about downloadable content only being for Xbox 360.
Simply put, that's not our intent. Our goal is to do what we can to make such content available regardless of platform.
