Man if you are going to start a company, I'd be glad to help you 'overthrow' Rogers.

The N80 has wifi??! Damn....if I knew...I would have considered buying it...it's fun going around outside near houses to see if you catch a wifi signal with your phone...Andre_online wrote:Thank God N80 has WiFi. Hahahahaha!

Yep! N80 has WiFi, along with N93, N76 and N95, and maybe other Nokia devices which I might have forgotten. Hee! Errm, usually the networks I found are WEP protected, unless it's a free WiFi thing in bus stops, Mac's and shopping centres.2furio wrote:The N80 has wifi??! Yey.....I was able to encode some music videos and put them on....looks and sounds wonderful....will definitely experiment with this some more.
I have one question though, how do you put the phone in stand by? Until now, I always shut it off but is there a way to quickly put it in stand by so starting the phone takes less time?

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
Itâ€s a good phone,i tried it at Vodafone.It has Symbian vers. 9.2.It isnâ€t ver slow,itâ€s normal.
Itâ€s definitely better than 6234.

Why Motorolla? They pretty much suck at features (camera and stuff). I say go for Sony Ercisson or a Nokia (Nokia is the best atm)

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
The SLVR is decent, but it has a somewhat short battery life (I keep the keypad and display backlights turned off) and I've had trouble with text messaging: I'll have to turn my phone off and back on for it to send/receive messages.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
^Not to mention its very tiny screen, which makes it difficult to view pics and videos, especially when the GUI also takes alot of space on the screen.

That's a major turnoff for bar phones, unless you want a phone 30 cm tall sticking out of your pocket.
Personally, I think that flip phones are still the best, even if they aren't in style now. They cover your ear extremely comfortably and give you the most screen out of a phone that volume (I think).

It would have probably been cheaper to order a brand new RAZR off of eBay for about 6 cents USD plus shipping.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
Alltel is gonna give me a new one, it's in my insurance contract. If they try to give me a used or refurbished phone it voids my contract so then they would be screwed.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
Weren't you the one that hacked his RZRZRZRZRZ (???) phone.
by editing software etc?
You know stuff like that voids warrenty etc.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
Ya, but it can all be set back to default. Besides... even if I do void my warranty, the insurance would pay for it.

Re: What Phone Do You Have?
^ Thats exactly what happened with me. I messed with my phone until it wouldn't start...so i gave it for repair ( it was still under the guarantee ) and they didnt realize that I had messed with it. Anyways they couldn't fix the phone so they provided me with a brand new one.
