Ti4600 doesn't suck... It's not super but it's good. At least that's what Ithink. I was about to die when Underground came out and I had a GeForce 2... it was 32mb and I had to have everything on low to have 15fps.darknight788 wrote:yea it does suck but given this is a 6 yr old comp that came with 256 mb ram and a nvidia Ti4600....
Now I finally have a Radeon 9600XT.

The Ti4600 sucks not necessarily because it is slow, but because of its outdated shader processors.Stereo wrote:Ti4600 doesn't suck... It's not super but it's good. At least that's what Ithink. Speedwise, the GeForce Ti4600 is on par with the GeForce 6600 LE, sans the up-to-date shader processors ... So, I mean, it's certainly not fast by today's standards ...

I was just a suggestion do you know what it means?????PSZeTa wrote:You do know that each person uses their PC differently and it's pretty much stupid to say he's got to get a new HDD?BrontoX wrote:Get a new HDD what you have there is tiny
You don't tell someone working at an office to get a X1950XTX, and you don't tell someone that doesn't use a lot of space to get a new larger HDD.

Im getting a new PC next month *crosses fingers*, most likely:
Coreâ„¢2 Duo E6600, 1066Mhz, s775, 4MB
P5L-MX s775 Conroe, 945G, DDRII 800, VGA, PCI-E
1GB DDR II Corsair 800Mhz
7600GT 256MB TV, DVI, PCI-E
Seagate160GB 7200RPM, 8MB, SATA II
NEC ND-4570A DVD±RW x16, DL x8
Yeah, gfx isnt the top, but id rather invest in the processor and switch gfx in about year or more.

X2 does not mean he has two processors. X2 is just a line of processors from AMD. Like mine is an AMD Athlon X2 4600.

I'm with you guys. I thought it meant two processors but having a quick read up tells me "two processor cores on one die essentially like having a dual processor system in one processor". My mistake then. So it's one processor with two processing cores?
Still a top pc though and should handle NFSC like a dream....when it arrives. I still haven't had that text off him yet to confirm. I was looking forward to going to his house for a look too.
