Need For Speed: Carbon
an autosculpt is basically a pewter model of a car.. Usually helps when designing concept cars...GINIX_2007 wrote:Engine swaping! Thats a good idea SkeekG. I am also anxious to see this "Autosculptâ„¢" thingi. Sounds cool I may finally be able to make the perfect kit for my RX7 if its in the game.
I doubt you will be able to "Sculpt" your own body kits.
...and with the extreme popularity of F&F Tokyo Drift, more people are opened up to the idea of drifting..canhoto wrote:yeah i noticed that too.guess we'll be drifting like there's no tomorrow, maybe it's to make up the absence of drifting in MW
When drifting is being advertised this big, it makes sense to jump on the opporutunity of making a game centered around it..
I'm truly surprised nobody posted this:

It's very interesting that you say that considering the entire body and frame of a Carrera GT is carbon fibre.korge wrote:CF hood on a Porsche.. I think Im going to cry.2furio wrote:I'm truly surprised nobody posted this:

I'm really surprised they never made 'stock' carbon fibre hoods... seems like that would be the first customizable hood available.

I can't say I disagree with everyone saying NFS:C looks way too UG2...ish. However, I'm still tempted to try the new drifting mode and on-line gameplay (IF, only IF there is free roam online, which I doubt) so I'm still tuned to this.
I don't use pwned. I use BSODed. It's less cool and harder to say. I know.

I can just imagine the development meeting:
Developer: So, what shall we do to make the punters buy our new game, but not have to spend too long developing it so we can keep the wonger rolling in?
LaPierre: Let's just rehash the tracks from UG2 and MW, make it all night time and add a few new car models in. Of course, we won't have to make the new cars handle like real-life, cos none of the punters will have driven a real 2006 Camaro or anything, so they won't know the difference.
Developer: But won't they see through such a lame ploy?
LaPierre: OK, we'll add in some half-baked team-mate stuff, they'll think it's an entirely new game. Sometimes, I am just too clever for my own good; they pay me to come up with this stuff, you know.
NB in case EA's lawyers are reading: The above is fictional, but could just have a ring of truth to it

There could be a whole new topic in the Off-Topic forum, where we could begin a contest with each one getting an entry, with what else as the subject? "LaPierre, an EA official, and a developer, discussing NFS Carbon."
After enough entries we'll begin a poll and the winner gets... hmm... an NFS "I luv my t3am!" branded baseball bat to kill LaPierre, plus a digital camera to record the hideous but oh-so-lovely footage.
Who's up for the contest?
P.S. I'm getting off-topic again, but I really believe it could be a good way to get our "Carbonated" frustration out through creativity; some of the LaPierre conversation in this topic are really hilarious. Hell, even LaPierre's own statements are hilarious.

Nothing we haven't seen so far. Actually less than what we have seen so far. And no "Sign up for updates" yet. But the site's up so... yay. I guess.
EDIT: EAComSmoothie: "two words bad-bumbum"

I just saw Fnf Tokyo Drift and I must say it is much better than the previous one and I can see from where EA get's their "imagination". The whole movie is practically about racing on tight mountain roads and sliding/drifting through the corners. Damn this movie has me all hyped up about NFS C. I wanna race through winding mountain roads...
