Well I'm finally gonna get a new system. Will wait some time though. Check it out and comment please:

Case: Antec Performance One P180B Black

GFX: XFX 7900GS GDDR3 256MB PCI-E x16

RAM: WINTEC 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit

Motherboard: ABIT AN8 32X Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16 ATX AMD Motherboard

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego 2.4GHz Socket 939 Processor

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3250824AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

PSU: Antec True Power Trio TP3-650 ATX12V 650W Power Supply with Three 12V Rails 100 - 240 V UL, CUL, FCC, TUV, CE, C-tick, CCC, CB
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is it good? My graphics card budget was a max of $130, so don't ask about the GS. Overclocking exists.
I hope it can run carbon at 30FPS MINIMUM full detail 1280x1024...

Stereo, I hope your not going to rely on that psu that comes with the case, most case power supplys are crap as you can see from those reviews.

^Stereo ..i think u will need to buy another psu as the one in ur case is not enough..especially for that Gpx card, and will cause ur system to be highly unstable ;)

It will run NFSC fine. I run it on max settings 1280x1024x32bit and i got X1650XT

tho your ram speed is quite low, suggest you go for 667Mhz or 800Mhz, differs in a few fps here and there also.

Abrams, which processor do you have?

I'm just afraid that my Sempron 2600+ (Socket A) is too slow for my X1650 Pro :|

(I bought Athlon XP 3200+, but it was... BROKEN )

Id rather go with new one, will save you trouble if it will go down in few month.

3200+ should cost you...mm...this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819103535

50$ buys you new processor with its warranty and other stuff. and its new.

The problem is, that I bought new XP 3200+, OEM version. It was broken. And those idiots say, that it was in good condition... Well, my wallet is lighter, and I still have Sempron o_O And BTW - I'm talking about XP 3200+, not 64 3200+. I have Socket A. I don't have money to change MoBo and so on...

Then it will be even cheaper then, if they dont want to take it back then try pushin em to check it or something. You can always drop few lines into your local customer right center if you feel like beating ppl up.

I cancelled the order of the Sonata II case and went for a Antec Performance One P180B Black

With the 650W Trio PSU it should be a dream. :D

i buy all my stuff through tigerdirect usally, but i was actually in radioshack when i saw it, i have had it in a little upwards of a week and have yet to have one compliant about it great product (urs were probably damaged in shipping) you could also make sure the fan is screwed down all of the way

im running it with logitech z5300e speakers and a 19" nec accusync lcd92vx full screen lcd (dvi complient on a 8port enterprise KVM (it is so sick) and a cisco catalyst 1900 (12prt version) is at the center of it all

nice

with the blue orb II and the great ventilation my shark cases side panel provides my sys's idle temp is 61F (with a Prescott P4D 3.2), my rooms temp is currently about 73F

here is an idea for that fan, get the connector out of an old or fried powersupply, cut a standard power cord for a pc, solder the fan leads to the female connector off the cord and solder a peice of the cord to the same points, then solder the other end to the male end, then insulate it all and plug it in, i just saved you and electrical outlet lol not to mention now it is all self contained (sort of) lol

I think your cpu will create a bottleneck for ur 2 7950s in SLI, and i hope ur PSU can handle quad sli ;)

omg, Quad SLI config on a Pentium D?

I suggest you save up and get a faster processor so you get full advantage of that.

As a side note, if id have choise between Quad SLI 7950`s and single 8800 GTX id go with DX10 card even tho Quad SLI does look sexieh.
