Best bet is to wait for a demo to be released then you can make up ur mind, don't go ahead and upgrade ur PC when Crysis hasn't been released yet unless ur PC needs the upgrade straight away

Damn recommended Core 2 Duo (good thing Intel got the new CPUs on the market) and a tight Gfx card. My P4 3.3Ghz and X700AGP won't stand a chance.

Anyone have 1000-2000Euros to give to me for a new PC?

Noooooooo, what ever happened to the previous times when the developer said that it's not possible to port it to the consoles due to the sheer amount of detail and lack of DX10 support. Traitors...

IMHO first person shooters belong on the PC with a keyboard and mouse, so much better to shoot and look around. Don't get me wrong an experienced gamer using a controller can be quite effective but as i said FPS need a mouse and keyboard to get the most out of em.

FIRTETRUCK!!! Noooooo..like xturbo said, i hope everything goes wrong with its production for consoles.

IMHO it might not turn out as a big hit as the PC version is. Similar thing happened with F.E.A.R. When it was released for the PC it was a huge success, but its ps3 and xbox360 release were a flop.
Damn i hope the same thing happens for Crysis

I'm finally back! after selling my old pc, I've got a new one. I couldn't get to internet because I really can't navigate without my own pc lol.

The specs:
Athlon X2 +4400 WINDSOR O.C (at 3.5 Ghz)
M/B AMD K9N4 SLI-F Pci-E A/L (AM2)
2(1+1) gb Patriot DDR2 800MHZ Dual Channel
MSI GeForce 8600GTS 256MB DX10 OverClock Edition

I hope now to run this game at medium or high at least

I've spended so much damn money....

Any recommendation, is welcomed

Let's see. If you guys can buy a cool card like that for around 400-500 bucks you guys are lucky. Here things like that are UP to 600-700 dollars. Don't even mind in getting a 8800GTX
or a Ultra...it's a dream...at least here.

I'm seeing what I can do about getting an 8800GTS which is the ultra recommended card for the game.

Anyways, the main question was: Am I going to be able to handle the game? yes or not with those specs? low medium or high??

The recommened were 2gbs and a damn X2 cpu....4400 at least
a 7900 GT...and it's still not enough? I have a damn 8600GTS!! DX10 and all the available BS!!!!!!!!
It seems i need to win the lottery in order to run this game at full...

WhAt?! that lil card doesn't even have Dx10!!! How it can be better!!! its going to die soon or later bc the games are now going to be launched with DX10 "only"...it can have 256bits...it can have more craps at DX9...but IT IS NOT a cool card at DX10

...so it have its day counted...also it's a 7900GT with 4 pipelines and 1 vertex (it means with 1 less quad). Also activating filters on this card tends to slow it A LOT..just test Doom 3 and Far Cry to see what I'm talking about.

...I haven't spent tons of money to be owned by a damn DX9 card which was released 1-2 years ago.the only thing imo it has more clocks speeds in Dx9....nothing else

8600GTS FTW

I hope that card magically doesn't have Dx10, because I'm really going to be HyperOwned

dx10 or not, the 86gts performs about the same whether you like it or not :/
even my 7900gto gives better fps
