So far what I have seen and read, I am not happy with EA. Especially on the topic of closed track race. It like they are taing out the fun of NFS. Why can't they have just followed the ideas from other NFS titles and got creative with the new NFS.
Call me crazy, but right at this moment, I don't plan to buy this title. It's gona take a lot of things in order for me to buy this title.
WHY this sudden change in NFS Title? I still thing in my opinion most people would still like the open street racing.

So far my opinion on this...
I think it will be a decent game, much better than Carbon was. It seems that EA makes a good NFS game every other year. I love that damage and more simulation-like racing is back. The game still reminds me of The Fast and The Furious (anyone remember where they go to the drag-strip in the middle of the desert?). I hope we get a drag race like that. I like the fact that they took out free roam, police, and other stuff and hopefully now they can concentrate on one main thing and do it well (unlike Carbon where they stuck a whole bunch of things together and got a half-assed, unfinished game).
8 supercar manufacturers (note, it was said we get 8 different manufacturers, not cars, so there could be more than 8 supercars). I will of course plead my allegiance to the all-mighty supercars with no noobish assists. It will be hard but wow...it should actually be fun.
The fact that circuits are not done around the free roam means that they should be much better this time around.
I also like the fact that you can tape up your car. I mean...image in real life...you just banged up your car in a race and you have another one soon. You have no time to fix up your car so you quickly tape up that bumper and get going.
However, the fact that you can leave your scratches on does not mean you're experienced, it means you were noob enough to make stupid mistakes. An experienced driver may have a few scratches here and there but his car will barely be beat up since...well...he's experienced.
Other than that...it should be a fun game. I guess now I'll have a reason for taking my computer with me to university...

Well they can't just keep up with every next title been the same, U, U2, MW and C have all been basically the same game with slightly altered themes.vegettoxp wrote:WHY this sudden change in NFS Title? I still thing in my opinion most people would still like the open street racing.

i dont understand why no free roam is a big problem to alot of people. NFSPS is gonna take place in various location (like the old NFS was) , so there's no big city to play around , basicaly i think no free roam is just.....normal. They took out cops and freeroam to make the other aspect of the game better , i think that's good , there's always a price for everything.
