I've changed my mind, for after playing Most Wanted I've created the best looking RX-7 in the world, and so my vote now goes to the RX-7
TRAITOR!

Yeah, the RX-7 looks great tuned. The problem is the whole having to be tuned part - although, if you want to get into interiors, the 350 is hideous. I think I like the interiors in Scion's better than I like the 350's interior. Too low, not to mention plain!

I never said it was ugly, it's a very attractive car... for us. It's just not going to turn many heads going down the highway. :?

quite the opposite my friend has an FD and everyone stares at him while driving. And to make them look better get an RE Amemiya Aero Kit and then it looks sick.

RX-7s are good looking cars, and drive well. If they are well maintained, they're pretty reliable. Shame they're bloody uncomfortable.

And the rear suspension struts, which appear to be made from concrete.

I'd rather have a 350, RX7's have a shi*load of problems, and I dont know crap about a wankel.

THe 350Z has loads of problems too. Like being slow, and craply built.

350Z isn't slow... It's even faster than a stock RX-7, and definitely more well-built. At least 5 years separates these two cars. :?

The 350Z is slower than a stock RX7. 5.3 to 60 compared to 5.9 for example.
The interior on the 350Z is a terrible hodge-podge of chocolate box plastic.

Get a 370Z then, jeez...

Because that doesn't cost about 10 times as much as an RX7.

No, it actually doesn't...

ANYWAY, until a RX-7 replacement comes out (which I suspect it will at least take a few years, if at all) this isn't really a good comparison. The RX-7 predates the 350Z by about 5 years, and was really about the engine, not the comfort or interior. The 350Z is more of a 'all-round' sports car. Kind of like a cheap Boxter XD

The 370Z is what, around £30k new?
You can pick up twin turbo RX-7s for £3k not a problem (though I can't vouch for the condition of them). Ergo, 10 times more expensive.

If you could find an RX7 in absolutely untouched perfect condition I would believe the RX7 would actually be more expensive than the 370Z. Not the other way around.

But he's kinda right actually.. You can never find an RX-7 without having some mileage on it, let alone tuned.. ;)

Yes, but a completely untouched, original 1967 VW Beetle with 0 miles on the clock, kept wrapped up in a secure facility, is probably worth more. That doesn't mean they're worth more as a general rule.

I'm talking on-the-road price here. You can get an utterly mint, resprayed and restored RX7 for about £5k.

It`s not so good comparing these two cars, because the years between them.
Anyway, 350Z is my opinion :D
